Well that's just my opinion ofcourse Stanly, you are free to feel how you like ........ If you have some facts that I may have missed or not mentioned to backup your assessment, Im too happy to hear them.

What is it that you particularly "like" about Romo ????

So, you think he's worse than Clary for the ZBS?....... I have my doubts. ;)

Well, ya know....... that may be right, ya know ....... and ya know, it may not be, not sure ya know.

Forget that he's a football player (questionable), forget that he plays for the Chargers, forget all that............

Can someone please tell me how this kid has a College degree ? or does he ?...................sorry, but if you can't put a sentence together that somewhat resembles English, there is NO WAY known that kid could complete enough work to recieve a Degree.
Hell, even if he didn't finish College (what he do ? ...3 years was it !), how did he survive and stay eligible to play Football for 3 years ? ..............Fresno St should be absolutely embarrassed whenever this kid appears on TV or Radio, what an indictment on that schools education standards.

Come to think of it ......................Shammy went to Fresno, didn't he !!!

OK, well that explains everything !!!! :roflmao:

Really, aren't we splitting hairs here ???

I really don't see why its worth arguing over ............................."absolutely atrocious" and "embarrassingly abysmal".

Take your pick as to which is which by the way, totally interchangable, so it makes no difference whatsoever.

Both aren't worth a :poop:-sammich with sprinkles and a Coke to wash it down ...................dont want either in a Charger jersey, but we know thats not happening anytime soon.

Now if we have BOTH ..........................Oh Lordy, give me strength.

Some team will most likely offer more than we could afford, meaning Clary may still be around.

Be careful what you wish for. ;)

Lets hope so ................... anything that means NOT seeing those 2 on the same team would be a Godsend.

I can't for the life of me, see Jumpy getting the arse even if they obtain the likes of a Winston, that scares me shitless.

What a day for Louisville Basketball !!!!!

First the Mens team makes the Final 4 and then the Lady Cards beat the "unbeatable" Baylor Lady Bears.

NICE .......................... that Griner chick (sic) could do with a little humility and air out of her head (or should that be Adam's apple ???) ;)

I don't get why you two as so down on Winston....... he did quite well in the ZBS when he was with Houston. Sure, he may not be the same player today, but he's still a damn sight more mobile than Clary ever will be.

The zone blocking scheme requires the tackles to be mobile and get to the 2nd level in the run game. Clary allowed 9.5 sacks last season...... Winston allowed 6. Neither are great, but Winston isn't worse than Clary. You'd also think they could get him for less than they're paying Clary now.

Hmmm... I didn't say anything about Clary - only Winston. 3 years ago he was a stud. Supposedly he was cut from the Texans as a CAP move, (I didn't buy it), now he is cut by K.C. after 1 year on a 4 year contract by a guy that is known to LOVE his O-linemen, (Fat Andy can relate to them). I don't want Winston or Clary if possible. I want an upgrade.

O-line was a great part of the REASON the Chiefs are picking first in this draft - or is everybody ready and willing to "forgive and forget"??? Again, I don't want anybody that made Phillips look like the 2nd coming last year. <spit>

I know at his age, that Winston isn't the player he once was, but he did his best in Houston in the ZBS. We are going to need depth, one way or the other. If he's available at the right price, I see no reason why he couldn't be added to the mix. Dunlap isn't exactly a world beater either.

If the top three tackles go early in the draft, what are our options going to be? If we are going to the ZBS (which seems very likely), then I'd rather have a guy like Winston, than a guy like Clary. At least Winston is mobile.

So is Clary. If you don't believe me, just ask the opposing teams' DLmen! :roflmao:

P.S. As a bonus, he even jumps a lot!

Oh, I know. I hope you didn't take my comment the wrong way, I just didn't want to drag on a pointless conversation.

I do agree that Romo cracks under pressure, but when he's given decent teammates he does very well, such as the 2009 season (especially when Miles Austin emerged). It's almost the same as "Fillup," who has, the past few seasons anyway, squandered due to terrible management and lack of a supporting cast.

I think the Cowboys ownership will be their downfall (which is going on currently and is a huge "DUH").

Jacko, Romo threw for 4903 yawrds, 28 TD's, and 19 INT's last season. The Cowboys did not have a run game at all last year so most of the weight was on Romo.

Actually, despite his nickname, Clary only was credited with a couple offsides penalties last season. It's a toss up..... if he doesn't get the penalty, he may give up the sack. Which do you think Rivers prefers? ;)

My main point, was that despite the rebuilding mode we're in, we've had a net loss of players this offseason. We can't simply replace everyone of them through the draft. Depth was a serious problem last year, so I don't see how losing even more players is the solution to our problem.

I'd take a sack of cement dust over Jumpy BLEW, you know that, so YES, Winston certainly couldn't be any worse, that would be humanly impossible for starters.

As far as OLinemen go, I just have a feeling it doesn't matter what direction we go in, it's not going to be enough to keep Fillup from fargin' up somehow ........ Has more "gaps" than a Ron Jeremy epic porn shoot in it.

Blue, thanks to our "real" CAP situation, our team cannot avoid "losing even more players". Faced with a "win this year or else", AJ pretty well went near "all in" in 2012 - then we didn't see the expected raise in the CAP numbers this year... Acehole and his minion are reporting that we currently have "$7 mil" of "available CAP space - but out of that will come about $5.3 mil or so for the rookie CAP pool... If you do the math, we can't really afford to keep the rest of our free agents and guys like Clary whose salary for 2013 has now exceeded their value to the team - let alone bringing in ageing vets who have been cut from other teams for the same reason, (Winston).

The only viable "solution" to our problem is already underway, or it should be. Rebuild. Get younger, get cheaper (through the draft), play the young'uns and be patient with them. This is why I couldn't understand the signings of Cox, (in particular), and Woodhead, (although it turned out the latter was a lot cheaper than originally reported)... Yeah, they are going to both help this year - but this year's team isn't really what it is about is it? Or maybe it is and I don't understand what "rebuilding" really means...

There you go Stanly ....... Now at least you have submitted a "fact" to back up your argument.

Mind you, I still say he isn't worth the money his Sugar Daddy is paying him ..... ;)

Isn't a stat available to condone that amount, mind you.:)

Sources say Malcolm Floyd was traded to Cleveland.
