I hear ya BLEW, Im really just at the stage of "having some fun" with the situation, rather than losing my mind or sanity over this mob anymore.

Bottom line is, it's gonna be a damn long while till we get the chances we seen back in 06, 07 again.

Just preparing myself mentally mate, nothing more. ;)

I see Flynn to the Turds, Colt McCoy to the Niners and Skelton released from the Cards, but nothing about M80 ......

I will NOT be happy if this trade is true ......

...and we still haven't stitched up Alexander for certain, have we ?????

Things are getting worse by the minute for this franchise it seems ........ Looking good for a Top 3 pick next year though, if your a brightsider. :)

I see that the NFL has now made "forcible blows by the Offense" a penalty.

Well, the good news for us is ....... That won't be an issue at all for our boys. !!!!! :D

Shouldn't be long now Jacko, but newz is very slow coming out of Charger's Park today...

One thing, (and I've never been much on pranks either), Eric Weddle's agent called him earlier today to tell him he had been traded to the Broncos - apparently Eric bought it hook, line and sinker.

Edited: Mike McCoy appeared happy with the turnout - he mentioned a "few players that aren't here for various reasons that I was already aware of". (I'm paraphrasing, not a direct quote).

Yep, just catching up with with all the "April Fool pranks" Dave ................. quite amazing that folks still fall for those in this day and age, isn't it. ;)

Eric obviously isn't the sharpest pencil in the draw either if he fell for that one.......

Just watched the video's over at .Com, that shite with the broom stick squats and neck rolls looked a little beyond Ryno's capabilities by the way. ;)

What if he were to drop that stick on his head ? ...................that could mean a severe concussion and probably a spot on the IR, we need to wrap him up in cotton wool till the season starts I suggest. :whistling:

Not surprising to see Ol' Hardwina there, that boy sure does like the weights, to bad they don't help in gaining about 4 inches in height and arm length though.

Not exactly exciting newz for you high-rolling barrel scrapers:

    Bernie Wilson@berniewilson 1h
Oregon ILB Kiko Alonso visited #Chargers today. Was def. player of game w/ INT, 1.5 sacks of Russell Wilson in 2012 Rose Bowl.

<duckin and a runnin now> (This is gonna hurt).

Just shut up and play Rhino!

Chargers not complacent with Mathews' remarks

Donald Butler says he'd rather Mathews speak for himself

The difference with players like Cox and Woodhead is that they're still young, so they are good signings for a rebuilding team. We don't need any high-priced one-year rentals, but a value signing of the right age is OK for us.

Ayup - that is kinda the point and why I mentioned Winston and "vet minimum" in the same breath. ;)

Hey, if they want to finish project bottom blow - if we cut Clary, McClain and Hardwick - would we generate enough cap room to sign him? How about Andre "the body" Smith who is unhappy with his current team's offer?

(I am being facetious of course). ;)

OBTW - that $7 mil figure was what the minion put out *before* the Woodhead signing - I can only estimate that we are right close to the rookie pool figure now - would be amazed if they sign anybody else without being forced to let someone else go...

Guy in our office tried the "Broncos traded Peyton for Rivers" line today. I almost forwarded it to you, but I figured you'd have gone off the road all giddy with excitement.

Im a big fan of unusual names .................... so with that being said, let's hope the kid gets a look in, have no problem with that in the least, especially when it has to do with improving our LB situation.

Glad to hear .......................yep, kid needs to grow up and learn when to speak and when NOT to answer a specific question, these TV/Radio/Media types aren't complete fools and know how to phrase a question in such a way that they are well aware of it getting them a sound-byte they can then run with .........

Mathews isn't smart enough to play that game, not now, and if his 3 years of being a Pro are any indication, not EVER.

This is where the Club needs to be able to say to its employees ................."NO, we'd request you steer clear of those situations", I don't see that as being overly "big brotherish", they do afterall, pay your bills quite handsomely.

I recall when working for the Zoo, part of our Employee agreement meant we were NEVER allowed to make comments too the Press regarding anything to do with Zoo business, failure to do so meant immediate termination, no questions asked.

Like this Butler kid, seems like he has a Young head on Old shoulders, we could do with a few more like him.

Yep, I'm OK with both the Cox and Woody Woodpecker signings ..... no worldbeaters, but good honest types, that give you effort.

hahahahahahaha, not even I would have been dumb enough to fall for that Ringo .......

Where the hell you been hiding ?........................I see you sign in on WM most days, but it shows you unavailable still !!!!

I'm guessing its you just signing into your Poota in general......................I asked Pumpy the same question once upon a time and that was his response.

Wasn't on the road today mate ....................have had the last 3 days off for Easter here.

Gotta love this place for Holidays compared to over there ..............Fri, Sat, Sun, Mon are all paid days off ..........................I get the Tues because I work on Sat's these days. ;)

    That sounds like a vacation.
Yeah I just log on to hotmail all day and it shows me there. WM is a pain in the arse though--too many messages popping up. Work's been a bitch. No time to screw off and post about our excellent offseason. ;)

Well don't certain people just have all the luck !!!! ;)

Mind you, you still trail slightly in those stakes, as I see that Carson Palmer has just been given a 20 Mill. handshake to wear a Card's jersey and provide a warm body on a Sunday afternoon.

If they have that sort of money to piss away for nothing, I'd have gladly put my hand up for a freebie handout.

And looks like Katie is going to get a shot at a roster in Tampa ............................will need some luck even making the roster seeing as he'll be going against that Connor Barth dude.

Give him "The Stare" Katie ....... :roflmao:
