Buddy Nix steps down as Bills GM

Why do I have a feeling this is another Buddy Nix beat-up/retirement ???

Resigned or pushed aside (once again) ????

    Loved this part though ......

Can you say ...DELUSIONAL !!!.....a WINNER ??? ( I guess a .333 winning % constitutes that in Buddy's World)....................farg me, I'd hate to see what a LOSER looks like then.

Well, the guy obviously doesn't mind giving himself a lick after hearing that load of :poop:

Just like the teams he's had anything to do with over the last decade, they have copped plenty of licking's too.

    Chuck & JJ.jpg R.I.P. Chuck Muncie

This hurts me doubly: As a fan of the great Charger teams around 1980...
and as a Cal Bear who watched Chuck run over opponents in that
Jim Brown ("Man in a game of boys") fashion.

(and yes, I still love ya despite your struggles with cocaine)

    Oh Farg it .......

My first ever Charger "had to watch" was my Man Chuck ................ I hate waking to this type news.

This one hits me as hard as Junior's, theres only so many of those "special" types that capture one's attention immediately and Chuck was one of those to me, way back in the day.

I've always cherished my rather unique "Muncie" jersey I own, like the Man himself, its totally different to any other jersey I own ..............

Today I'll sit it aside and reminisce a little about the memories of watching the Big Man crash and bash in his own unique way.

RIP Chucky and Thanks for the memories......

Saw Chuck play in person back in the day...... a tough SOB, if there ever was one. Too many Chargers greats have left us prematurely.

    Way to many BLEW.....

If it wasnt already obvious to all and sundry, far to many of yesterday's hero's are dying way to early.....

If that doesn't tell you what these guys were doing and putting into their bodies for the "greater good of the game", then you'd have to be delusional beyond help.

If today's players aren't taking notice, then unlike many of yesteryears stars who weren't informed like today's are, then be ready to "Live fast, Die Young" .......

Again, some may still choose that path and if that's the case, so be it, but don't be crying out for compensation once the careers over, you went in fully knowing the possibilities, so now it's time to pay the ultimate price.

You have got to be fargin kidding me ........ They aren't even in pads yet ?????

    FARG, FARG, ......FARGGGGGGG !!!!!!

This is becoming an almost weekly occurrence down here in our football as well........ Guys doing total knee reco's without being touched or involved in a play.

Had a Tiger player do one last week ....... He lined up, kicked a goal and his plant leg just collapsed underneath him for no apparent reason..... Out for the season !!!!

It's gotta have something to do with how much (over) training and stress the body is put under these days, there's simply no other explanation for this to be happening at the rate it is ........ The only other reason would be if players are being given illegal substances to speed up recovery, that are having detrimental and devastating results on tendons and muscles.

I'd love to think its NOT the latter ....... But hey, it is 2013 lets not forget.

Anyone else smell Super Bowl? ;)

Now, the possibility of Ingram missing the year leaves the Chargers depleted for depth at outside linebacker.

Jarret Johnson and Larry English are the only veterans on the roster. Johnson's strength is defending the run, and English, a 2009 first-round pick, hasn't netted more than three sacks in a season. In April, the Chargers drafted Tourek Williams in the sixth round and signed undrafted rookies Devan Walker and Frank Beltre.

This is going to be a one game at a time season. An Auburn Tigers fan told me that even if they were 0-11... that last game against Alabama was their Super Bowl.

I hope we smoke the Donks, rape the Raiders and crush the Squaws. Anything beyond that is bonus.

If nothing else, we'll see just how good McCoy is adapting his system to his personnel.

Well... I guess we are going to see if Rivers is the center piece that allows us to build on the fly like the Pats have been able to do around Brady. Do we hoover within reach of a wild card for most of the season... or does this degenerate back to where we were when we drafted Tomlinson?

It should be interesting to see how this unfolds. I am sure Norval is going to do a great job with the Browns. I have no idea what we are getting ourselves into.
