Well SandyBob, as luck sometimes would have it ............................ our timing couldn't be better.

HOT off the presses as I type this ..... top story on tonights News broadcasts.

....and this is why NO ONE cares or watches this charade of a game Dave. ;)

Can't wait to hear who this "Aussie" is, I have a feeling he wont be calling Australia "Home", anytime soon.......................his world down here just came crashing down in a heartbeat, will be a nice change though to see an Aussie actually moving to India permanently. He'll be fine no doubt, I'm sure theres a good living to be had, driving a Taxi for a living. :D

That's the one thing Aussies will NEVER forgive .................... Cheating for money just isn't tolerated here at any level.

How dumb are these guys ??? ............................they are paid squillions to play a game that lasts a total of roughly 3 hours per day (about every 3rd day) for about 3 months of the year !!!!!

And they still decide to fix games .................public floggings work for me..... :roflmao:

I can't believe you gave it was much thought as you did LG .....................

I'm gonna take that as a major win on my behalf, if you don't mind ?

You do realize the socks were to keep the "boy's" warm, right ?

So I guess they are still trying to wring out finances?

    From PFT:
Dwight Freeney’s visit with the Chargers is continuing today (and if I were a free agent, I’d make sure my visit to San Diego was thorough and complete, too).

You have to ask yourself what are his other options right now. Does he want to wait around for another player to get hurt, or does he want to get with a team and start preparing himself to play football?

It's obvious that his earlier contract demands were too high, or the Broncos would've already signed him. At his age, the guy would be better used as a situational pass rusher, rather than an every down player. He can't cover anyway. A more expensive version of Barnes, if you will.

Just think how many would show up if Gina Rinehart would get her's. :D

I see your point Jack... and Cricket is especially prone because they take bets on every last fargin' ball. But alas it is not only sport victimized by cheats and greed. The Canadian Soccer League in terms of it's sporting prowess is about as significant as a hot dog eating contest. BUT it is HUGE business for the bookies.

    Latest update SandyBob ......

    http://www.heraldsun.com.au/sport/c...n-premier-league/story-e6frfg8o-1226644662225

(Now you know its reached the "Oh golly Gosh stage", when the pictures of "Indians burning anything" in rage, start to hit the papers.................they just love a good funeral pyre those bastages. :))

Oh dammit !!!;) ................looks like all the Aussie's are clear after earlier reports that Shaun Tait was the one found with a shipload of moolah in his hotel room. (Was hoping it may have been Shane Watson myself)

If that had of been the case, not one Australian would have been the slightest bit upset to be honest, Tait isn't universally admired down here you could say !!!! :whistling:
Heart the size of a carraway seed and more interested in how his hair looks and if the tattoo's are showing up on TV in a good light...............

    In other words..........................he's a Class A1 POOFTAH !!!! :D

I have long suspected they eat off the same table. ;)

    ---

Finally cracked for that cheapo iPod mini from Wally World down at our mall Blue... Still getting used to it but very cool. Sending from my son's home in Florida this week. (Granddaughter graduated from H.S. last night) . I will probably want a Bluetooth keyboard, but for now adapting pretty fast to the split virtual keyboard option... Don't know why I waited so long now. :D

That's great, but if you waited a little longer, you could've gotten a retina display version. ;)

Good thing he doesn't have diabetes, or they would have to cut him....... ;)

Source: Gronkowski “probably” needs back surgery
Posted by Mike Florio on May 17, 2013, 4:43 PM EDT
A mere possibility quickly has become a probability.
Per a source with knowledge of the situation, Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski “probably” will need back surgery. He currently is waiting for a second opinion from Dr. Robert Watkins.
The back surgery, if it occurs, is expected to happen within three-to-four weeks after the upcoming surgery on his forearm, which currently is set for Monday.
The timetable could hinge on whether the infection is indeed gone from Gronkowski’s forearm. If it is, he’ll need only one more surgery (the fourth) on his arm, and then the back surgery would be able to proceed.
If the surgery is still there (doctors currently believe it isn’t), a fifth surgery on the arm may be needed. Which could delay the back surgery.
Gronkowski was available in the second round of the 2010 draft due to a back problem that caused him to miss all of the 2009 college football season.

    8GB?........

I maxed out my 64GB iPad ages ago....... I have to keep deleting apps in order to add anything new. If only I had waited until the 128GB option was available. ;)

Tell you what .................... things aren't looking to good for the Gronk at all from the reports Ive been reading, there's a real possibility this injury could well be career-ending, now that would be something else.

Now he has a "back injury" ??.........................maybe all the partying and chest-bumping on the dance floor has finally caught up with him ???

Would be a HUGE loss and blow to the Pats if they lose this guy.
