OK Pump, I watched it ..................

Not sure I'd say he's ready to takeover of the reins of running E-Harmony anytime soon, but hey, lets just hope he can play a little football and I'll be satisfied.

I gave you credit for that prediction if I recall .......................though I must admit, I thought you were doing it "tongue in cheek" for the most part .......

(Or was that me hoping you were doing it Tongue in Cheek ???? .............Hmmm, oh well, to late now, better batten down the hatches and hope for some smooth sailing ahead)

I thought it was clear as well. But as long as it doesn't meet Jack's standards, it doesn't mean anything.

Well Blue, I don't get out much - this is the first time I have flown for over 5 years - but as we took off on Southwest Airlines from San Diego to Vegas the flight crew mentioned their Wifi "hotspot" service - then again when we left Vegas for Tampa Bay - at which time I took a peek - it is very limited internet access in my opinion - they are controlling bandwidth, not permitting videos, program installations, and several other things - and they want 8 bucks. On the way back home earlier today, I said what the hey and coughed up the credit card after being told that would also cover my connecting flight in San Antonio - (which it did). Turns out it is basically $8 "per day" with Southwest.

Again, it is low bandwidth and almost frustratingly slow on busier pages like nfl.com or the nfl home on ESPN, but with a bit of patience I was able to catch up on the Chargers news I had missed over this past week and a bunch of other stuff... Biggest thing was the ability to avoid boredom, plus being distracted from life's little "discomforts" that travel with me these days. ;) I would do it again for 8 bucks, but hope that the FCC is successful in their current look to "open up" Wifi for air travel.

I can visualize some serious problems trying to actually use it for business purposes beyond managing eMail. File transfers, say a fair sized presentation file, large document or spreadsheet, etc., would be near impossible IMHO. Have to admit, setting there watching an HTML file slowly load took me back about 15 years or so - but I didn't have anything that needed to get done so what the heck. For me it was a fun toy to play with and beat just setting there reading an eBook on the Kindle App. ;)

Wish I could spend a week or two tramping around there Jack, but we were simply there to wait an hour and a half, then board our connecting flight to get back to San Diego. Be it ever so humble, there IS no place like home.

So, Jammer wants to come back?....... no surprise. It's where he's comfortable, and where he lives.

For what he'll get offered now, why go through the expense of moving. ;)

Knowing the type of person he is, I wouldn't be surprised if he was humble enough to accept whatever offer they give him.

Nice to see the FO make a stand on letting the media have it all their own way in regards to "TO" ....

Farg them, all they want are their story's, they can spruik all they like that they should have 24/7 access, but they don't for one New York second have his best interests at heart.

To thumbs up for this move, as far as Im concerned.

I don't have a problem with this move in the least, utilised in certain situations could be the perfect move for both player and club, use him in bursts and he can still be effective, on and off the field.

And people in the Midwest don't know how we Californians can live with the danger of earthquakes.

Hey, at least major earthquakes aren't a yearly occurance. Living in tornado alley is a risky proposition.

    RIP Ray Manzarek .......

Your unique sound will never be mistaken and is immediately recognisable, a most distinctive tune that has stood the test of time beautifully and Im sure will continue too.

Having lived through one that came within metres of where I was sheltered back in April, 2000, I have nothing but admiration for the power that is Mother Nature......

She's one bad Momma that has it all over us puny human beings, of that there is no doubt.

He still owns the ranch there, but bought a 5th wheel and keeps it parked over in Odessa so he can be close to his work. Pretty sure that was where he would have been this weekend regardless.

OBTW, FTWbolt moved his family up to Moore, OK, some while ago - heard through the young'un that Randy and family are OK despite the tornado up there today - their house is still standing and, at last word still had power to it. Far as I know, I have no family left in OK any more - most of mine are in Texas, Florida or out here in SoCal.
