This one tickled my fancy even moreso than the one above ..............

    Seriously fargin' funny stuff !!!!!

Im just wondering what the score could have been if they hadn't both obviously "tanked" the first half !!!!!

7-0 and 6-0 respectively at the half !!!! ...................... now that must have been one hell of a halftime speech by both coaches.

Vince Lombardi eat your heart out !!!! ;)

He did mate ..... I seen the person comment on his FB page and it looks like all is going well.

not sure who was more upset about him having to leave him behind, he or I

Having been through that myself, I'd never wish that upon anyone, worst experience of my life, still have cold sweats over it.

No doubt man, it's leaving a family member behind. Tough to handle. My kids would go crazy.

At 9pm tonight, my son's best friend shows up at the door in tears saying their dog has been gone for 30 minutes. Off goes my kid to help look. I figured they'd be gone for an hour, but they found him in the park across the street 10 minutes later. Had a helluva time corraling the dog. Course the dog was totally stoked. Free running time followed by free play time dodging kids!

Anyway--that's good news for X--at the least it feels good to leave them with good people.

After having to have our much loved Golden Retriever put down on Mother's Day, 2012 - we were down to 1 dog at the old Pondee for the first time in many years. We simply weren't ready to take on another.... until this week. Long story short, we have added an 8 week old, black and tan female German Shepherd to the family. Her name is "Missy" and by this time next year, we should have another pretty good watch dog and companion with us - in the mean time there is all of that "puppy" stuff and training to get through.

10 year old "Jessie", (the one I call our "hobo dog"), has adapted readily to the pup - who is learning that the big dog is patient, but only to a point. Tonight she learned that it is NOT a good idea to bite her on the ear with those little needle-like teeth. She had already learned not to bite Dad's bare feet.

Been a lot of years, but we knew what we were getting into. That little girl already loves us both unconditionally, and stays right by Heidi's feet - - - or not.

Nice, congrats on the new pup Dave. Always fun to have one of them around the house. Until they **** on the rug.

Thanks FC. As you might imagine, there have been a few "accidents", but thus far - this little girl is already doing a great job of waking up, whining, then heading for the back door. This is our 3rd Shepherd pup, (along with many other breeds spread out over 49 years), and we have always been impressed with the brightness or "intelligence" of young shepherds that seem to want to please and avoid getting in trouble if you get a good one. She seems to be cooperating/adapting very well as she progresses through "Heidi & Dave Potty Training 101". :) (Of course, having the 10 year old "example setter" around is really helping too).

Up to this point we are pretty certain that "Missy" is one of those good pups that want to learn and please you. Time will tell, but *everything* about her is doggone promising.

I received this via eMail from a buddy over in PHX...

    ==========
I must be insensitive...still laughing, but this is real....a news station was tricked into announcing the pilot's names in the SF crash:

    And then the apology:

    ==========

While nothing surprises me about the media/mediots these days - and it really did sound plausible, I decided to verify that there IS a KTVU up in NorCal... Found their web site, and a reiteration of the apology.

Of course, they serve as Television channel 2 - where else? In Oakland, CA...:cool:

    Only 50

    UPDATE ........

Nice to see there are a few adventurous Aussie bogans trying their luck for an early grave ....... God knows natural disasters alone, arent able to curb the numbers being bred at an alarming rate these days.

Was a little despondant at these numbers though .............:(

Only 50 !!!!!! ... and NO coroner visits is always a disappointment.

Fargin' Bulls are getting soft I reckon, probably have the poor basterd's on the brownies before letting them loose for the day. ;)

Absolute PISSER of the highest order Dave, love it.

Oh NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO mate, far from insensitive, how can you NOT laugh at how stooooopid people have become, even those in positions of what was once looked upon as "fairly reliable" ...................

Ya think that producer still has a job ??? :roflmao:

And that newsreader !!!!! ....could she look anymore ....."well dont blame me, I'm only the messenger" if she actually tried ???

No cure for Stoooopid I'm afraid.

Funny you should mention that ...............

I finished the Hank Haney book on Tiger just minutes ago ..........

WOW !!!! ................ one thing made clear to me after that read .........

Be Happy (very very happy) you weren't born Tiger Woods.

That guy by the sound of it, is the closest thing to a human robot Ive ever heard about ............... literally no feelings, no social abilities, zero enjoyment on a day to day basis whatsoever, all about simply winning, not that that even seems to be of any great satisfaction to him, go figure.

So much for money and fame hey ...................glad I dont ever have to worry about that happening. ;)
