That Aussie kid (Brad Wing) who played at LSU and has been in more :poop: than a Werribee Duck of late, is available (Cut by the Eagles this past week)...........

He mustn't be "all that and a bag of chips" though, because I know for a fact he has worked out plenty with Darren Bennett over the years, but he obviously hasn't recommended him to anyone at Charger Park.

Ayup - I was really hoping for a better showing, but playing with this line in front of him, the best things he did was hand the ball off to Fozzy, and keep his cool.. Gotta admit, the kid is pretty darned unflappable - even when he had every reason to "lose it" on several plays... That and I have enjoyed watching his release - no wasted motion and plenty of zing on the ball. Sure going to be interesting to see if the Bolts keep 3 QBs, and who they considered to be the temporary best 53 until they can access the waiver wire. ;)

TT's job sure as hell isn't done this year yet.

There were plenty spruiking about this guy being a "long time Pro" (based on what I have no idea ?) even before he'd played a game.

Just watched some of the "highlights" and figure anyone on the D in the 2nd half should have bought their own plane ticket home. Especially Addae and DJ Smith. Then take BJ Daniels off waivers (let's face it, it's harder to kill a moving target), put Sorenson on D since he clearly tackles better than what's there now. Oh, and cut CBJ finally. This season may get me to start drinking again.

Chargers have begun informing players they've been cut. Among them, CB Cornelius Brown has been waived.

Note: Syd posted this link elsewhere - but looks like a good one to see the "official stuff" if NFL.com keeps it updated - (and if they do that would be a nice service to fans)..

Roster cuts for all 32 NFL teams

Chargers have waived inside linebacker Phillip Dillard. Had eight tackles, 0.5 sacks this preseason. Practice squad eligible.

Garay waived by the Jets - I wouldn't be upset to him come back for depth at NT

Think I'd just keep him on speed-dial "just in case". Bet Pags has his number too. ;)

Lots of talk about TT and the waiver wire, (or alluding to it). Just like it was in the last draft, many of the teams with shots ahead of us at each waived player are hungry to build depth at the same positions the Chargers are. I expect him to be as active out of what falls to him as he can - but rebuilding depth on an NFL team simply isn't a one year process. Gotta be fair to the new GM on this.... or not.... but I'm still fairly impressed with what he has tried to do up to this point. Hard to perform magic when your hands were tied by the last regime.

Wondering if TT & MM aren't asking coach D's opinion on O-line cuts from the Bills...

Man, hasn't he just dropped off the grid in a hurry.

Seems like only yesterday when he was playing some decent ball for this club ............... guess his "claim to fame" will always be when he ragdolled his opponent into Manning for a sack against the Colts back in '10.

That was rather awesome, to bad he couldn't maintain that type of form.

Hey, one can hope that the 9ers are dumb enough to keep McCoy if they decide to go with only 2 QBs
