Not sure what correlation Jumpy has to Gatesy catching 8 passes, also mentioned at the time he was having a few bad moments also, but I tend to think his Pro's outweighed his Cons at days end.

Clary and the rest of the OLine had a very good day overall, which Im pretty certain was also mentioned during the game.........they certainly don't go unnoticed SandyBob, how could they, we only have to watch Fillup's performance to gauge their efforts afterall.

Jumpy... (as you call him)... produced mistake free football. If the pocket collapses Rivers has no time to deliver a TD strike for Gates to drop.

well that goes for any reciever on the team SandyBob, no one is underestimating the importance of good OLine play but the fact remains, Gatesy still played a major factor in todays performance, as did the work of the OLine.

Thats why its called "a team game" afterall, one doesn't work without chemistry.

The Bolts controlled the ball for 40 minutes of this game and played 20 more offensive plays than the vaunted Chip Kelly offense did in the process. For me, that counts almost as much as the "W". ;) (Not quite though).

Defense is giving up too much in the 2nd half of the 1st two games - this time the Offense took care of it. I'm afraid John Pagano is a little short on horses.

    ....but that is just me.

Pretty much a saw off. We held them to FGs on three occasions... and they were kind enough to miss one at the half. Gates turned a sure TD into 3 pts. They had more big plays than we did... and all in all needed less time to score. Their last drive was almost too efficient leaving us a load of time to score the winning points. Therefore I find the stats somewhat misleading.

We have absolutely no depth so our D is tired at the end. Short on horses sounds right on to me.

    Seahags looking flat so far.

I'm not sure if this will help their case, or make it worse...

Wow, I thought Whisenhunt was our defensive coordinator? Anyway, that doesn't mean Pagano can start calling zone and prevent defense in the third quarter.

Regardless, the team played very well today against a good Eagles team. Very happy with the result.

Also, this obviously means that the Chargers are winning the Super Bowl.

I'd like to say that I watched the game, but the Bolts do much better when I don't.

So I took one for the team :)
