http://nbcsports.msnbc.com/id/3690072/?pg=7#spt_novacek_08 OK, so the game's in London. That means both teams could be a little shaky to start. But they'll both be in the same boat. The Saints won't have Reggie Bush, but that's not going to sink New Orleans. Drew Brees is good enough at spreading the ball around and spotting receivers that the Saints will move the ball. That's been one consistent aspect each week. This game is about the Chargers. At the start of the season, everyone would've said the Chargers were a better team. Now, not so much. The offense makes too many mistakes, they don't get LaDainian Tomlinson involved enough and something's missing with Philip Rivers. He's forcing too many passes and taking away San Diego's chances to win. Pick: Saints
I can admit that was the fatal flaw last week but this makes it sound like a consistent problem which it is not. Rivers taking away our chance to win - no way.
WTF?!? Last week, yes, but otherwise, Rivers has been the brightest spot on this team. **** this guy.
I concur. Just look at his QB rating?!? If anything, the Chargers offense moves the ball too quickly and puts the defense back out there faster than normal.
He must be a Purdue grad, Rivers is leading the league in QBR but will be the cause of a loss? Sure it might could happen, but if LT is back, I don't see us losing this game or many more in the future with the bye week coming up.
What a Dork! I agree, except for the last game,Rivers has looked great. I think Rivers may be pressing too hard (last week) because we don't have a running game. He may fell it is falling all on his shoulders to pull out a victory. We must establish a running game again! Then Rivers will PICK THEM A PART!
Yeah, 16 TDs against 5 picks is what's hurting the team. Yet another silly statement based on probably a few minutes of watching film.
