Mark sanchez is predicted to go to 43 different teams so who knows. I think this is insane hype and doubt he's that good. Finally draft time Btw heard a rumor epic Funny that the raiders are talking about taking Percy pot head harvin at seven. If that happens I'll die laughing
Thanks Dub. Got it to work for me. Good enough to keep up with the action. That means I owe you yet another beer. I never did buy enough rounds for you getting the London game hooked up.
SAN DIEGO — QB Philip Rivers stopped by the Chargers’ weight room at around 11:30 a.m. PT, but not to work out. The quarterback was interested in finding out what’s going on here on draft day. He, like everyone else, seems to be wondering which direction GM A.J. Smith will be going when the Chargers make the 16th pick. Rivers found himself thinking about the draft five years ago, when he was part of the blockbuster trade that sent Eli Manning to the Giants and Rivers to the Chargers. Rivers never even spoke to the Giants until he was drafted by them He knows as well as anyone that anything can happen on this day, and that’s why Rivers will be watching the draft from his home. He says he will be glued to the TV for the first five picks or so. After that he’ll leave the TV on in the background and tune in again when the Chargers pick at No. 16 — if they haven’t traded down. Rivers says it’s nice to be in a position as a team where you aren’t desperate to find a specific player or position in the draft. – Alex Flanagan
SAN DIEGO — It feels like just another day at the office in San Diego. Chargers front office personnel have been getting their work outs done in the weight room while those who weren’t running on the treadmill didn’t arrive until mid morning, including coach Norv Turner. He arrived around 10:30 a.m. PT. The mellow mood might be the result of the Chargers only having one pick on Day 1 of the draft. General manager A.J. Smith is said to be considering trading down from the 16th overall pick but Turner said it’s not likely. If the Chargers stay put, Turner expects to draft an impact player — meaning someone who could come in and play right way. It also appears unlikely that the Chargers will use their first-round pick on either running backs Chris “Beanie” Wells or Knowshon Moreno. – Alex Flanagan
Of course we have to hear that the Manning brothers texted Stafford. Who gives a ****? Even when they aren't around the NFL has to swing from their nuts.
I have switched from NFL Net to ESPN because I can't stand Rich Eisen, and his incessant need to tell everyone that he is Twittering.
