Now the million dollar question..... Who will he hire as OC??

Poor Bruce, imagine every interview he had this week cancelled.

Chargers: "hey Bruce, yeah I know we have plans to hang out on Monday but uhhh something came up. I uhhh have to uhhhh take my Grandma to her hair appointment?!?! but I totally wanna kick it with you soon, how about Wednesday"

Bears : "Brucey boy whats up! oh wait we had plans today? Oh crap I thought that was tomorrow!!! Im so sorry bro, oh well no hard feelings right? RIGHT! ha I kid, Later buddy"

Eagles: "Hey man, how would you feel if we didn't interview today? alright cool man thanks, you see I got this chick coming over and you know............... alright my man, I owe you one. Talk to you later"

Jaguars: "Hey is this Bruce?!?!?! Hey Bruce David Caldwell, from the Jacksonville Jaguars...........................Hello?......Hello?!?!?!?!............Hel.........I think he hung up?"

I am hoping he does hire one who will actually do the job as OC unlike the OC's we had under Norv who didn't do any play calling

Going to be holding my breath until I hear who McCoy has named his Offensive Coordinator. There are some great assistants out there, both pro and collegiate level, and hopefully that question was a great part of the interview process... This fan base has had entirely enough of the combined HC/OC crap to do us. <spit>

Think McCoy can sweet talk Clady into coming over for a discounted price?

Awesome hire. No retread. No super expensive former SB coach. No hires from within. We got 2 young guys to work together and build a culture for this team for the next decade+. Couldnt be happier with this signing. Now hire Pagano to be your DC and then start hirng your OC and the rest of the coaches you want to bring in. Now here is to hoping he's the real McCoy (Tongue in cheek)!

I just hope he isn't the guy who decided to send Peyton Manning to the locker room with 30 seconds and 2 time outs left in a tied-up playoff game...

Been told Chargers likely wouldn't have interviewed McCoy had Broncos not lost. They wanted a coach by this week.

Doesn't make sense to me...... we'd have selected maybe Bradley had the Broncos won?, even though it's clear McCoy is our number 1 choice?

He's saying They were dead set on hiring someone this week, they wouldn't have had a chance to interview McCoy. Meaning they would of had to pick from Lovie, Whiz, Arians, Bradley or Gruden.

Seahawks DC Gus Bradley not scheduled to arrive in Philly till this afternoon. Bradley is scheduled to interview with Jaguars Wednesday.

Can we merge this thread with the other bigger one about HC search... I know they are not exactly the same but we are now discussing the same thing?

I guess u can look at it 2 ways. Wait a week to get the best guy (in their eyes) or take the next best this week instead just in case McCoy is never a runner down the line.
