He didnt try to slide...his footing gave. Ill asume since it was lightly snowing that is was slippery.
Sitting on a pic with 3 plus minutes is stupid, Hart was getting us in scoring position to ice the game and sustained a very bad injury. He left his heart on the field and I'm glad to see that, I don't like the fact that he's injured though.

There was an opening.... It would have been nice to have better field position when we took posssesion. That's all.

We didn't need field position, we needed the ball. It was a STUPID play on Hart, no way around that. The clock stops at two minutes, other than that, we punt with about 30 seconds on the clock if he takes a knee.
Hindsight is always better that foresight... He went with his instinct upon catching the ball, which is to run... I see what you mean though, considering we were (at the time) ahead by 10. Even if the Bills did get the ball back, in good field position, they couldn't have won the game... Remember, we did win this game.:icon_wink:

Your assuming nothing goes wrong, Rivers mishandled the ball three times today and anything can happen in a pro football game as we witnessed with the Hart play.
The int. occurred at under 3 minutes to play... Still think Hart didn't do such a bad thing... If the field wasn't slippery, he probably wouldn't have injured himself and everyone would be happy because the score would have stayed 24-14 and the Bolts would have both covered and won.
Oh well.....still, he did the right thing, he just fumbled. Hec i see idiots try to run INT's out from the EZ when they should take a knee. I think posters would ***** had he not run it back.
