Oh norv and rivera get blame too, let's not deprive them of what they deserve too. Players don't play in a vacuum

Yeah, but man, when they get in a rhythm they are pretty amazing to watch. Too bad they have to sit on the bench picking their noses for 22+ minutes or whatever the fuk it was in the first half. No way to get any type of groove going.

Can't play much offense when you only have the ball for 7 minutes in the 1st half.

BS..........its about not having the players for the schemes called(so change the schemes). Its having a GM with too big an ego....and players with no Heart.Predictable play calling that doesn't capitalize on the players available. Too many things for one team with so many expectations to overcome.

There was what? five or six drops of catchable balls in the first half. LT didn't help and should have stayed on the bench. Cro needs to see the pine for a few weeks, he isn't as good as he thinks he is.

They had the ball three times in the first half and did nothing. The bottom line is that our team, once again, was not ready to play coming out of the gate. If our offense had done something that first drive of the third quarter, then this game might have had a different outcome. Waiting until you're down 28-0 before you do anything doesn't spell good offense or good defense to me.

Mainly, I don't want people giving the offense a pass for this game. The defense cost us this one, but the offense didn't help. They do look good once they get going though:tup:

Part of it is Norv, we always start of slow on Offense and Defense. Our Offense needs to come out firing go no huddle if you have to. Defense needs a miracle, WE are better of going onside after every score.

Well said man!! I think it damages our chances to improve. If they think they can rely on a fourth quarter comeback, we're doomed.

Well, I'll still be a fan of the Chargers, but don't like the taste of the Kool Aid that they are loaded with talent. As far as I'm concerned, there is only ONE talent on this team and that's Rivers. I'll bet if he had the stamina and was allowed, he would play defense and get a couple of sacks every game. I've given Norv the benefit of the doubt, but I think he should go.

    :(

    Just wanna make some points

Resilience - 2006 @ Bengals (down 28-7 at half, plays better entire 2nd half, including some scores from the bengals to win 49-41)
Resilience - 2007 @ Titans (beaten down most of game still played tough, tied at last second and won in OT)
Resilience - 2008 playoff Colts (nuff said)

What we saw today, was scoring only when the game basically was out of reach and out of mind. The Steelers took their foot off the gas in the fourth when we put the foot on the gas. Once the Steelers started paying attention again, we got crushed.

    That's not resilience

None of the offense pulled its weight for the majority of the game.

I think the bottom line after this week is.......I can name 16 teams that are more consistant, less arrogant, play with more heart, and I would probably take to beat the Chargers right now.

    Indianapolis
    New York Giants
    Pittsburgh Steelers
    Denver Broncos
    Philidelphia Eagles
    Atlanta Falcons
    New Orleans Saints
    Arizona Cardinals
    Balitmore Ravens
    New York Jets
    Chicago Bears
    Green Bay Packers
    San Francisco 49rs
    New England Patriots
    Minnesota Vikings
    Dallas Cowboys

Which means this is not a playoff team, and would be lucky to be considered in the top half of the league. Be my guest if you can argue with any one of those. All of them run the ball harder, all of them stop the run better. I was on the fence about Houston and Tennessee too, I'm pretty sure either one could clobber us on any given day.
