They got pushed around today. Rivers was off and held the ball too long, LT can't pickup the rush for ****. Having Tucker out was not good. No pass rush. We really miss Merrimans speed and intensity. Running right at Porter on 4-goal was fuking stupid.
I have been saying for years that Clinton Hart is garbage! I don't know why he is on the team. He made one play today, I didn't see or hear about him the rest of the game. It must be the scheme because I have never seen our Safeties break on a ball and get a INT or make a big hit, they are always waiting back and assisting on tackles.
He went up for the pass and got shoved by the tight end, so he then grabbed onto the tight end's arm and didn't let go. Incredibly stupid since that tight end wouldn't have caught it, but it should have been offsetting PI penalties.
We don't have much forward years. We have free agency coming up and the way Norv is using LT, he might not have long. It's now or never!!
Yeah that's something I noticed too ie. that Tolbert rarely hits the right man if he hits anyone at all. This might be why he seemed to be on the sideline quite a bit today. Manu sucked blocking too. Seems like an attitude adjustment is necessary. Stephen Cooper might be the man to bring it.
You can't blame Norv solely when you have a QB who can't hit his open receivers and a RB who can't break any tackles. And oh god... our D is just pathetic. Hopefully we can put more pressure on the QB when Merriman gets back out there. We will not make the playoffs unless we get a major adjustment to at least one side of the ball.
Good point. You ran right at their best player with the running back that wasn't into the flow of the game. If LT had been in the game on the prior two carries I would understand, but you're bringing him in when he had been on the bench resting his leg.
We didnt run at Porter. We ran left in the middle. Crowder stuffed that play on the inside and was just a bad call. I was hoping for a fake inside to Tolbert and a pitch out to Sproles. Would of been wide open.
I'll still look forward to next week, but I've tempered my expectations. I still think they are the best team in the NFL, but sometimes that's not enough. No itinerant bandwagon rider, I'll stick with, thick and thin.

Sure you can. The play calling was horrible. I don't care what the D gave up. All that matters is how many points they gave up. 17 is fine!!
We should have just snuck it in from the one. Rivers is 6'5" for God's sake. He should be able to reach across for a touchdown from the one yard line.
