I must just be so used to the horrible play calling that I don't even notice it anymore. I can't agree that 17 points is fine, though. We should not allow Miami to score 17 points (or 167 rush yards for that matter).
Like I keep saying... "17 points is more than enough for our offense to win the game. Especially with our offense!!!!"
The window has closed on top of the chargers d**k, LT had 1 good run, rivers went 1/34, gates couldn't get off anyone, chambers injured, no one blocked, embarrissing. Son of a mother ****ing *****, ****! ****! ****!!!!!!!!!!!!
Sad, but LT has become and old man over night. This looks very similar to what happened to Shaun Alexander.
I disagree. I see quickness, in fact, I think he looked better today than he did all year. He gets thirty carries in games when there is no running room. But today, there is running room and they give him something like 13 carries that were spread sporadically throughout the game, not giving him and the offensive line a chance to get in a groove. Just mind boggling IMO
I had a bad feeling about this game - just like I did before Denver - Miami always has a way of biting us in the ***... God damn it ****ing sucks. :icon_sad: Phillip has lost that confidence in his o-line that he had early on which has effected the passing game. The defense is still playing weak. I can give them an inch b/c in the first half Miami was all over the place changing up the order of their o-line throwing the kitchen sink at our boys. But they played soft against the run yet again giving up 3-5yds over and over and over - then allowing that stupid wide open slot in the middle for Pennington to pass to. Time and time again we've seen it this season - TIME TO FIX IT PLEASE. Ugh...
I never had so much disrespect for a Chargers roster. This one has so much talent but no will to play.
Five games into the season Norv gets an "F" and Fat Teddy gets an "F." Those two had better get it figured out fast. The last thing they need is another "we need to get this figured out cause the coaches can't" players meeting like took place last season
I can understand the defense problems ...I don't like it but I understand. But the play calling on offense was HORRIBLE and the play from the one yard line that was called was about as stupid a call I think I have ever seen. Norv is acting like the emporer with no clothes and thinking that he could send LT into a one yard line stand and he would score when the O line couldn't make a hole for him all day. Coaching is the problem here not the players!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :mad2::mad2::mad2:
Good call! I realize the players didn't have their best day, but what can they do with play calling like that? Does reality ever come over Norv's headset? There were no holes today, not for LT.
