Yeah coach, I guess it's Rivers fault that our D gave up almost 300 yards to Peterson. Your right, Rivers should block for himself and run the pass routes also.

It is not much of a secret now how to beat the Chargers. Put everything you got on the line regardless of whether it is a run or a pass. It stuffs the run and Rivers cannot make them pay when its is a pass play.

Dude did you watch the game, LT sucked, Rivers sucked, the O-line sucked. The defense sucked but yet it's all Rivers, Cottrell and Norvs fault. :icon_shrug::icon_huh:

The defense played well until injuries and fatigue wore them down. The offense played like **** all day.

Keep making excuses for Rivers if it makes you feel better, but the fact is that if he were playing as well as he did the first half of last year we would be 7-1 or 6-2 at the worst.

The fact is the he has been a mediocre or worse QB for the better part of a year now.

Where the fawk do you come off with that, I've been laying the blame where it belongs, the whole damn team.

You the one crying about the QB, what the hell, LT isn't light the world on fire either.

Yep. I don't understand why people can't see this. Rivers has been on a serious skid. Blame needs to go all around, but you can tell the WR's and Gates are frustrated.
I'm tired of looking at Norv's face on the sideline. Looks like a kid who just **** his drawers and doesn't know what to do....do I take a step or just stand here until someone rescues me.

I'm not sure why you are so antagonistic toward my post. I actually agree with your assessment outside of LT sucking (which I blame on the O-line). Rivers, the O-line, the playcalling, and the sloppy play combined to make this a very forgettable day.

LT has been doing a lot of dancing. There were three plays where he put his head down and picked up nice yardage. He needs to stop trying to make something happen behind the line of scrimmage and actually get past it. I know the guy must be feeling frustrated, but he'd be picking up more yards if he made cuts and committed to running vertically.

I still hope for the playoff spot in a weak division.

But then it will be one and out. The coaches and the team have to fix the problems The deserve better

Still in first place baby. We have to get creative here. First team to reach the Superbowl with a 7-9 record.

It's because you only respond to negative posts about Rivers. I've been in the thread all game long and I have seen plenty of criticism of everyone but you have this need to come back defend Philip.

No the defense played well because Jackson was awful and he wasnt awful because the defense was good. He couldnt hit the broad side of a barn and i knew when Bollinger came in, it would be a different game.
Not that he lit it up , but he is a better passer to go along with our bad run defense. today.

The way I see it, you can go on a lot of forums, newspaper blogs, etc, and you are going to see that folks have had some concern about Rivers' play going back to the end of last year. Get over it guys........i bet you Rivers himself realizes he needs to get his **** together. Much like the rest of the team.
