This game is at a good time for Euro Bolts. In England it starts at 6PM and to be shown live on Sky TV.

Sunday dinner has been eaten, the kitchen has been cleaned up, the beer is waiting impatiently to be opened and the LT replica shirt is hung on the door waiting to be donned.

Actually, I've had them all. Spent a bit of time in Nottingham when I worked for Capital One & frequented most of the pubs in town. :lol:


Ye Olde Trip to Jerusalem was probably my favorite pub in town.




Built at the foot of & into the limestone outcropping that is home to Nottingham Castle. Great place to hang out, drink, & meet folks from all walks of life.

I've spent quit a bit of time in Nottingham over the years. Supporting Darlington Football (soccer) team, I've been there for day trips to watch us play County and always have a great time there.

I also try to get there every year for a few days to watch cricket with the wife. The Trip is probably her favourite pub within England but when in Nottingham it would be churlish not to go for at least a couple of pints in the Vat and Fiddle, 5 minutes walk from the railway station.

When we come over next year for a game, I'll bring you a bottle of 'Olde Trip Ale' for nostalgic reasons.
