That's ok though, the forum owner is among those here that today believe the Chargers suck, and the Chargers motto should be "expect to lose". He assures me, however, that tomorrow he'll be his usual positive, cheery, ebullient self!! :)

as amazing as it may seem. We can still win the whole thing. Win the division and get into the playoffs.

The whole season will be determined whether the coaches fix what they're doing wrong with setting things up.

Cottrell has to start using linebackers and d-backs to jam or at least hit recievers coming off the line and play press coverage. The linebackers and d-backs have to recognize where a running play is going faster. All coaching things.

NOrv has to quit running gut runs against a stacked d-line. Try off tackle with a pulling guard and a fullback leading the way to either side. Lombardi lived by that. And in passing plays NOrv has to give Rivers more than one reciever to get the ball to. Have two or three possibilites per pass play. I could go into how Norv did it in Dallas that worked. But you'd have to understand a tightend coming off a block and being the dump off reciever.
