Rivers ran out the clock. Game over. Bolts win (although poorly except for LT).
If we play like this in the coming weeks, we're going to have trouble winning any games. Pittsburgh and St. Louis did not help us out today.

Well, the offense sure got off to a slow start

but I think we wore them down

that's a good sign.

Excluding the stupid penalties, I was also impressed with the way the defense played given that we had 2nd and 3rd stringers in there.

important to pull thru 2day says alot about the character...

we will not have another sunday with so many bleeding penalties... the only way is up now. nite guys and gals... been good fun 2nite.

Defense stopped them for FGs, but way too many penalties and too many long pass completions. Also, we're allowing too many last minute drives by the opposition that result points (Baltimore, KC, St. Louis, Cleveland). Gotta figure out a way to stop these teams in the last 2 minutes of the game. We've already lost 2 games this way.

Good thing our offense can still score points, even on a day when Rivers is struggling. We were lucky to escape with a win against a bad team. Unfortunately, we have Cincy and Denver coming up on the road. It's going to be hard to win those games, especially with Denver's offense starting to come alive.

You're right... We have two tough road games coming up... Sure glad we're going into them with a 6-2 record, cushion.... Just in case.

OTOH, Cinci didn't look that great today.

Man that was a tough game to watch but I told my buddy in the beginning that I just wanted a win. We had a lot of guys playing from deep on our roster; that and some of the penalties called on us were really bad (not to mention the idiot legit penalties).

I hope Marty can tighten this up and I would expect nothing less.

I hope this was the "looking ahead - a lot of stupid penalties - a lot of injured players - sluggish offense - everything going bad" game of the year

our defense showed up today and it was brilliant to see, the defense did drop at least 5 interceptions but we got the win so that is all that matters
