The Turds can whine, but the Refs made the right call. You can argue that the rule should be changed, but that's the rule. If the offensive player intentionally throws the ball forward, that's an illegal forward pass. Once it hits the ground, the play is over.

We got this same call against us in 94. It was our home playoff win against Miami. IN the 2nd half, Keith Jackson caught a pass. As he was going down he tried to lateral the ball to a teammate but he flung it forward. The Bolts recovered the ball, but it was ruled an illegal forward pass and Miami retained possession five yards back from the spot of the infraction.

You can whine about the rule, but the refs called it right.

Agree VJ loses all spiking rights for at least a year and a half. Florence also should have let the ball fall on 4th down or sit down immediately. These types of mental errors haunt you in the playoffs.
