Schrottenheimer is long gone. One has nothing to do with the other.

Of course, but he's not a LoNeal type. Summers had the potential to be.

Our run blocking is still a weakness..... Summers could've helped.

I agree, thought Summers would be the hammer in the running game this year. Guess his health issues in camp held him back. Would have traded Gachkar for him. Bisaccia must have wood for that kid.

I hope Summers makes it on the PS.

Really pleased with the final 53. Would have liked to see Frank summers on their, but i can understand why he didn't. No point in have 2 fullbacks. If he makes it over a linebacker we retained I would be happy. Hopefully we can sneak him back on the practice squad. I sort of liked hester more than tolbert before he broke out last year. Neither create running lanes, but are efficient at what they do. If we find a way to move heater for anything and summers can fill in it would be great. Polite is also available. In either case, I am happy with what we have to let's go get this 'ship.

Yes. They had to quit selling them in the '90's when all the P.C. shite swept the nation like wildfire.

Interesting observation that I didn't really notice. I agree.

I knew Norval doesn't like fullbacks but I didn't realize it was that big of a dislike.

It just seems to me like you are more interested in being right than in the guy helping the team. I can see complaining about the pick if you don't like the pick. But bitching that he made the squad when the Chargers used a 3rd round pick on him? Now that he's a Charger, I'd think that you'd be rooting for him to prove you wrong instead of hoping that he fails.

I'd have kept Tutu over Cooper. He is next to useless with one arm. I cannot figure out what Briggs adds to this team. He is not an impact player. Tutu is almost certain to be signed somewhere. Tolzien is better than anyone the Skins have. I'll bet he's at least a flicker in Snyder's febrile mind.

It says on ESPN.com that Leonard Hankerson was nearly cut, that he was on the chopping block. So Doug is probably better off just rooting for Brown to succeed.

Other than Tolzien he's also correct. And Tolzien won't last long on the PS, IF he clears waivers.

This is in no way an endorsement of Acee as a writer or sports analyst.

When he actually makes a tackle. Even Edwards was a better tackler that Cooper

No way we should have let Brown go. Give the guy a chance. If he turns into the next Buster i.e. can't stay healthy then move on but now!?, no way. There has to be a reason why Coop is on the 53 and Tolzien is not. Else someone needs to be fired, that has got to be the worst personnel decision ever. Tolzien is better than Whitehurst and he got us a 2nd round pick when it was clear we were never gona use him. Tolzien at worst would be backing up Philip maybe as early as 2012!. I am livid with this decision. I expect we will lose him now and all the good work done with him = gone to waste, to some other team's benefit. Ridiculous cut.

I am always looking for these few players that I do not like to prove me wrong. I would be more than happy to be wrong. There is one specific player that I keep waiting to prove me wrong.

So why would the Redskins "nearly" release a 3rd round pick? Is it any different? Why would it be bad for us to do it?
Hankerson has nothing to do with Brown. Do you like every pick that is made? I still stand by that I did not like the pick. Even if he is the next Jerry Rice or Buster Davis.

Probably it irks me a little more than it should is because we had to cut a decent WR like Tutu.

Here is what I would have kept ahead of Cooper.

    DE Ogemdi Nwagbuo
    LB Kevin Bentley
    S Quinton Teal
    CB Ramon Broadway
    T Stephen Schilling
    C Colin Baxter
    WR Kelley Washington
    WR Laurent Robinson
    WR Seyi Ajirotutu
    RB Curtis Brinkley
    RB Isaac Odim
    RB Frank Summers
    QB Scott Tolzien

P Ricky Schmitt ... (yes... even the fargin' kicker offer is more valuable than Coop!).

Agent says no word on Scott Tolzien being claimed. Practice squad can be put together at 9 a.m.27 minutes ago · reply · retweet ·

When it comes to you Dougy, Hankerson has everything to do with Brown.

Yeah I'm annoyed by the Tutu cut, but because I think Walters is fools gold backed by the anomole of WRs Welker.

I saw that Lamar Divens was released by the Ravens. That's someone I wanted to keep a few years back, but we cut him hoping he would land on the PS, but was poached by the Ravens.

My guess is Cooper is on a very short leash, he shows he can't play or if someone gets released that could be better then cooper is long gone.
