Sean Smith will be matched up against Vincent Jackson.

He's the best corner for the fins right now and the only hope of slowing down Jackson. He held Reggie wayne to 3 catches for 37 yards on Monday night. He's a ball hawk and had some interceptions in the preseason.

Should be a good matchup.

Antonio Gates is the nightmare for this defense. Which is why they are going to have to blitz Rivers and disrupt his timing (hopefully, if that can be done, if that's remotely possible--ok, I took back the rattle easily comment):icon_toast:

And I do regret calling you bozos--although you are supremely confident in Rivers like I am confident in the Miami running game and the miami pass rush today.

I am sticking to a Fins win of 27-20 because the bolts are without some key players on the lines and Norv Turner doesn't drop Tony Sporano to 0-3-----not in a million years. This is a much better fins team than you played last year and they are desperate for a win. They started 0-2 last year and shocked New england with the wildcat. This week, like every week, they are going to show some different things in the wildcat. What many think is a gimmick is a major part of the miami offense---and there are so many things that can be done with it that the league has only seen a peek so far into this formation's ability and possibilities. The fins invested in the o-line and they got the blockers to execute the plays. I think Ronnie and/or pat White are going to throw some passes out of the wildcat today. Ronnie is 2 for 3 on throws (last year), including a touchdown bomb--longer than Penny can throw it. That's going to be the surprise today. And in addition to needing it for the win today, they need to give Rex Ryan some more things to work on for that Monday nighter coming up. And they need to be able to throw it to loosen up the Jets D because Ryan is the only guy who was able to stop it while at Baltimore---and the fins ran a one dimensional wildcat that day.

Sorry, but it could be a blow out.
