You and me both buddy. I called a big release (or two) by the Jets before the season starts. There is no way they could support the huge payroll they have, espescially if the cap does come back next year.
Bucs shopping Chris Hovan Posted by Mike Florio on April 24, 2010 12:38 PM ET With both a first-round pick (Gerald McCoy) and a second-round pick (Brian Price) devoted to the defensive tackle position, the Buccaneers no longer need a first-round pick of the Vikings from the 2000 draft. Per a league source, the Bucs are shopping Chris Hovan. After five years with the Vikings, Hovan has spent five seasons in Tampa, starting every game but one since 2005.
Is Arthur Jones still out there? Jeff Owens is as well from GA. Arthur Moats the OLB from Madison would be interessting
Also Dickerson is still out there, we know AJ showed interestet. And Carlton Mitchell. But I don't necessarily want either.
my board goes 1)Clifton Gathers 2)Legerette Blount 3)Kyle Williams 4)Tony Pike 5)Crezdon Butler 6)Danario Alexander
Here's a name on the board I didn't know was still there - Anthony Dixon RB mississippi state - might be better then Blount
only thing that scares me about him is that hes had 900 lus carries in college and has major knee issues
I think Wilson and Gates are both recieving TEs, a blocker would make more sense to me. And a RB would make more sense than that.
im talking about other teams, that kid is a beast one of the only majorly good TE's left and everyone is passing on him, its puzzling
Jason Campbell is an Oakland Raider Posted by Michael David Smith on April 24, 2010 1:05 PM ET The Washington Redskins have traded quarterback Jason Campbell to the Oakland Raiders. It's been expected that Campbell would be traded since the Redskins acquired Donovan McNabb, and trade talk between the Redskins and Raiders heated up today. Rick Maese of the Washington Post was the first to report that the trade is complete. There's no immediate word on what the Redskins got from the Raiders for Campbell, although Maese suggests that it may have been Oakland's pick No. 190 and either No. 215 or No. 251 overall. Not a lot of compensation for a former first-round draft pick, but then again the Redskins didn't have a lot of leverage, as everyone knew Campbell was on the way out. In Oakland, Campbell has to be considered the favorite to win the starting job over JaMarcus Russell, Kyle Boller, Bruce Gradkowski and Charlie Frye.
