    Antonio Gates, Malcom Floyd inactive for Chargers

    The San Diego Chargers are playing without two of their top receivers tonight against the San Francisco 49ers.

    Chargers tight end Antonio Gates and receiver Malcom Floyd are both inactive. Gates had been listed as doubtful with a foot injury, while Floyd was listed as listed as questionable with a hamstring injury.

    The Chargers’ other inactives are Larry English, Patrick Crayton, Darrell Stuckey, Tyrone Carter, Louis Vasquez and Travis Johnson.

    For the 49ers, linebacker Patrick Willis had been listed as questionable, but he is active.

    The 49ers’ inactives are third quarterback David Carr, Joe Nedney, Tramaine Brock, Will James, Chris Maragos, Thaddeus Gibson, Joe Staley and Alex Boone.
