Still not the reason we lost the game........ how is that so hard to get? Turnovers is what cost us...... by the offense.

One thing about this team is that they are consistently inconsistent

No, but you kept harping on the defensive issues...... as if they were more critical to the loss. They weren't.

Do you agree with Fouts on McCoy forcing punt only to run the clock and the dumb idea of taking a half distance penalty instead of a stop for loss?

That was a total team effort....in a bad way. A few bright spots, but it's time to think about retooling in 2014.

You misbehaving and upsetting all the other kiddies BLEW ??

Bad bad boy, do I need to send you to your room again ???

Defense ? ..... Offense ? ........... the team simply lost another winnable game due to some below average execution by players, very very average playcalling (again) and let's NOT forget about the refereeing, its always responsible for us losing, right !! ;)

    This .......

Looking like "an Old Man" in today's game.

I truely hope he decides to pull the pin come the end of this season and NOT try to do "an LT" and tell the world he still has something to offer.

Been a true Champion of the game and needs to walk away, simple as that.

If I was "PANGO", I'd be more concerned about keeping my OWN job at the present time. ;)

Doesn't have much to work with mind you, don't envy him at all.

I think peeps are just wanting to give the guy some time to get his bearings BB, human nature I suppose, but there's no hiding the fact he has made some absolute bonehead decisions, there's no excuse for those, regardless if he's a rookie head coach or not........................a first year High School coach would be embarrassd by those mistakes.

Nick Canepa seems willing to give McCoy the benefit of the doubt....... ;)

A few minutes into the fourth quarter, Cincinnati would have been in a second-and-10 situation from its own 10. But a Bengal held and McCoy chose to accept the penalty. Made no sense, giving them an extra down. They eventually kicked a field goal.

What did he say? That it was the best thing for his football team.

    Well, it wasn’t.

it keeps happening too. I joked awhile back when people said he'd learn, that there were still plenty of mistakes left that I've never seen a coach of any level make....funny though is he sort of made the same mistake this last game in a different way...he rightfully called the time-out but then after choosing return instead of block, ran out the clock! It's like he didn't quite understand what the mistake was to begin with. This garbage is not the same thing as a player mistake or a questionable play call but people are trying to lump it that way

That's funny, I'm glad old Nick is going out like this
it's not even a subjective argument...No coach on any level should ever make this mistake. It's not like a bad challenge flag (but it IS like throwing an illegal challenge flag:laugh:)

At the time I thought it looked like about 2nd and 12 from the 4 yd line and thought great... decline penalty... let's go. And then McCoy accepts penalty... I almost fell out of my chair but didn't, because this guy does these things. He does not appear to have the smarts required (at this point in time). Maybe he'll learn but count me as a doubter.

I didn't understand why they never went for the block or a power return only to let the clock run, befuddling. I would've gone with the down net gain on the flag was minimal. I still believe the Bolt defense was embarrassed on that last drive, the Bengals could have scored at will.

I do alright in the thinking department, it's when others think they can think better than I that all the thinking just gets all fawked up.

Difficult to put an inactive player on the field.

You can, but if he's just going to be standing around, he's not going to be very effective. ;)
