Rivers can't carry a team by himself. No QB can (just ask Peyton Manning and the Colts). Not when he's got the defense in his face every. freaking. down. Not when he keeps hitting the deck because the O-line can't protect him, or when he can't get the ball to the receivers because THEY aren't where they're supposed to be, or when the big tall guys are hurt and the little guys are constantly double-covered, or when Norv calls a really stupid play (like running the ball on a third-and-long). I'm not excusing his pick-sixes and his apparent lack of focus, but I really hate to see him getting trashed when there is plenty of blame to go around.
I agree. The internal clockwork of this team has lost pace with the rest of the AFC West. Rivers is still my guy. 6 games left, Raiders and Broncos on an up-swing and us struggling to find what's wrong with us. Tomorrow morning is another day. I'll be in SD for Thanksgiving and the Bronco game. Hopefully the ever faith full will make it feel like a home game.

LOL grow up, nobody is saying trade him. The truth is Rivers has played like ****, the only way you wouldn't agree is if your just looking at box scores or watching the game cast on NFL.com. You have to be WATCHING the game to see the horrible decisions he's making. That INT in the endzone today was one of the worst of his entire carrer, it was like he was throwing with his eyes closed......and its like the 8th time he's done that this season.
