          I mean Rivers is having the worst start of his professional career and we are 4-1. Ya we have played some inferior teams but better to get this out and get wins against them. That way we are playing our normal december ball when it counts.

            Dude every team has issues to fix. No one plays perfect football....No one. We have played division rivals the past 2 weeks got 2 wins with our QB playing the worst football of his career.

              Someone has to light a fire under Norv's arse. Making that game end the way it did = not acceptable. Disgraceful coaching performance. Bailed out by a miracle play from M80 and a soft UR call on Denver. I need this bye so bad after that.

                Shyte, that was close!!! :mad: What was the D thinking on those last 2 plays? They gave Tebow half the afternoon to throw that ball; if the QB had been Tom Brady, we'd have lost that game just now.

                Sure hope we can pull our collective head out of our collective anal orifice and figure out why we keep giving the ball to the other team, as well. We may be 4-1, but pretty soon we're going to be playing some real teams who will happily hand us our a$$es if we keep playing like we left our brains back in the locker room.

                I'm well grown up to know that what they just did in that second half was WEAK.. they waved the white flag bro.. they got six points.. SIX! off two field goals.. Now what good NFL team does that? I don't see the Packers, Patriots, etc.

                The 49ers.. up 24-3 at half.. come out and play aggressive D and put up 24 more points and blank the Bucs in the second half..

                We simply did that to ourselves.. just like the Chiefs game.. its pathetic to watch when you know we can easily score points when we play to our FULL potential.. We have the bye week so I'm hoping something gets fixed and we can carry on to New York because let me tell you Rex WILL have his players ready to play against us either way if they lose or win in Miami they'll be ready to end a losing streak or continue a winning streak..

                It's people like you that expect this team to play perfect football all the time. Sorry "bro" but no one plays perfect football. Turnovers are going to be made, games are gonna be close that shouldn't. It happens. Feel fortunate in those games that we have come out with wins.

                Am I condoning whats going on with this team? No. Am I glad that we are playing ****** right now and are 4-1? HELL YES.

                We are 5 games in and going into a bye. Before you as a fan start waving the white flag on this team let the next 6 weeks play out and see where we stand with 5 to go.

                        That'll be the end to our slow start now that we're hitting the bye.
                        We'll struggle at first against the Jets, but then we'll dominate them in the second half. Next will be a big win in KC. I see a nice double digit victory coming our way.
                        Then we'll face off against Green Bay, and we'll give them their first loss of the season in a close game that comes down to our D simply being better than theirs.

                        I'm not expecting perfect football.. but I want GOOD football cause thats what we are capable of.. very good that is.. We've seen glimpses of excellence this team has in them..

                        I have never waved the white flag as a fan neither will I.. I said the TEAM did in THIS game in the SECOND HALF.

                          I am happy that were 4-1.. but we've played teams with a combined record 4-14..

                          A win is a win.. I agree, I rather win ugly then lose looking perfect.. But we just need to play better! our turnover ratio is -5, we got 0 sacks today.. I don't know the redzone stats but I sure know there not good or what they should be..

                              A win is a win. Thats the good. The bad is this team never seems to be able to dominate a game.
                              They score and get ahead, and seem to throttle back, and let ther opponent right back in it.
                              Its going to be a close game every week I fear. But if we still win the close, i'll take it. I'm really frustrated with the offensive lines lack of a push in short yardage. That is one of several reasons our redzone production is poor.
