I would just hate to see what happened last year, obviously its a different scenario were 4-1 last year we were what 1-3? .. everyone said we'd turn on the switch in the second half of the season and make the playoffs and what not.. but that didn't happen!

I'm saying my prayers.. if indeed this is our 'slow start' but we've found ways to win and we've gone 4-1 I'll buy it, but it just doesn't seem like that.. I hope thats the case and we come out slingin' the ball and pounding it with Mathews who is really impressing every week..

This place smells like whine & fromunda cheese.

We have issues to fix. We have injuries to overcome. We're NOT the most talented team in the league.

And we're 4-1.

Man reading through this thread is simply depressing. The team is 4-1 and you all are acting like it hasn't won a game all season. Things to fix sure. Things are getting fixed, and now we have the bye to get some people mended up.

Not really funny, we have never 'over moderated' here.

To deny something is wrong with the Chargers is what stinks, trying to figure out what it is a move in the right direction. Being 4-1 is great, that's not the problem, being unsure of what this team is really capable of doing down the stretch is where the doubt creeps in. It's kind of like being 500 miles out from home and you just noticed that the engine temperature gauge is creeping up and you only have enough resources for fuel to get home.

The problem is that many of us that are happy with things do not post. I am very happy to be 4-1 ( ecstatic maybe ), but we do have things to fix. I don't think it is worth worrying about them, they either get fixed or they don't, nothing I can do about it. As far as I can tell, people on the outside bitching about things doesn't fix much. I will just relax and enjoy the ride as far as it goes.
