Howdy Bolttalkers ! Fine to be on this site again. Everything ist so new .. and a new season is waiting. Phoenix is only a early benchmark.
Schön daß du wieder da bist. Ich sehe unsere Gewinnchancen sehr sehr gut dieses Jahr. Denk Super Bowl!
Okay so I have no idea what Cranberry and Sandolf are saying, but I imagine it goes something like this. "Good Morning! Welcome back to BT fine sir!" "Thank you! It's good to be back. the site is so shiney and new, brilliant!" "That is it and the Charger still kick ***. This year is a good year to go to the Super Bowl!" "It sure is! And p dot s, Boston fans are dirty hobos." So how'd I do? On a football related note - IT'S GAME DAY!!!!!
Pretty much bang on until the bolded part. Herr Cranberry is somewhat more skeptical... (he's German off course... hehe)... and thinks we'll have a better indication after the road game against the Belicheats. N.E. are always overrated imo... and I don't think they are still the stick to be measured with. Maybe a couple of years back. Not anymore.
Woohoo! I'll take close I'm inclined to agree a bit with both of you. While I dont believe that the Pats are the class of the league as they used to be, a road game in their house (east coast road games have been a toughie for us in the past) is a winnable game but a challenge none-the-less. At that point we will also have faced Minny (very solid run game/our run D concerns me) and will be headed into KC. I'd like to go into our 1st divisional match-up with a good head of steam I also still think Boston fans are dirty hobos... bandwagon dirty hobos.
Cheers Syd. I used to find Pats fans the most disgusting in the league until I became more closely familiar with Jets fans.
Jets fans... ugh I dont know enough insults to cover that group. They're the whole reason I HATE the JE T S JetsJetsJets. Even Raider fans have more loyalty. Scary thought. Good to chat with you again sir - it's been a while! Love the thread opener
Thank you likewise. I think I will be a regular here now due the peace treaty negotiated with Concubine. All of the ceasefire arrangements of the past were kind of shaky at best. Blue Bolt is the master of these things... I'm just lending a helping hand. We would both regard the current offerings as preseason quality. Once the games count for real... the creativity will ratchet itself up a few notches too.
Thanks for the Jets fan critique. Nothing that surprises me, but that is the game that I may attend this year. Just have to make sure that the NY/NJ Charger crowd shows up like they did for the Giants game. I'll record this game tonight at 2am for viewing tomorrow. Go Chah-juhs.
I knew I should have taken German instead of French in high school !!!!!! Anyway, is that Marty Feldman in the Gameday picture ? Good work SandyBob.
Thanks X. Funny thing is that I thought the game was Sunday too... (until I saw the post from Blew wondering if I was snoozing). Immediately I think... "sheet"... I had better get a move on!
As always, GO BOLTS! Pointy (Cheering from the Triple Crown Pub! The unofficial bar for our away games.)
Kicking it in the hotel, heading over to University of Phoenix Stadium in a little bit. If you see a big goofy looking bald dude in a navy t-shirt with only the bolt, that would be me. First row on the field, Chargers sideline right on the goal line!
