Cassel being interviewed. What a joke. The guy had nothing to do with the win.

Why would you do that when you can hand it off to Sproles for a loss like always?

That last series of play calls were ****. Why did we not exploit our new run game...sproles had no business being in the game. He was **** all night. Tolbert, Hester and Matthews could have pounded five yards in four downs!

      How the Chiefs won this

      -Special Teams
      -A big return by Dexter
      -A big run by Charles
-A short field after Mathews fumble
-Failure to get it going until the late third quarter

They can fix the special teams stuff. They can't fix receivers that drop passes.

KC's offense DID NOT play to win this game.

Neither did our special teams though.

On top of all that, there's what...11000 unsold seats for the Jags game? How many ways can you say LOCAL TV BLACKOUT?

good players. Bad play calling. If norv didn't have the studs he has he'd be milking cows all by himself in denver.

try coach frack up. 1st and goal at the 4 with matthews and tolbert on a wet field and you try and get fancy and throw. Geez.

yea mathews should have been in. Norv didn't have a good game, but I think we're fine, we will grow from this.

They pretty much took Matthews out after he hit Rivers' arm on the play action on the second-to-last drive. But why no Tolbert???

Mathews was having some first game rookie jitters to say the least though. He fumbled at a crucial time in the 2nd quarter which led to the Chiefs 2nd TD. He knocked the ball out of Rivers hands on the last drive and nearly caused us to lose the game right then and there.

While I will agree that the Sproles draw play needs to be put out to pasture forever, I do think that the Rivers draw play should have been brought into play. He had an open running lane on 2 of the last 4 plays, and if we don't waste one to Sproles and lose 2 yards we are going to OT where we win.

Cassell had 68 yards passing for gosh sakes! 68! This was the perfect storm. 2 turn overs, 2 HUGE special teams plays, a fumble recovery for a near TD. Davis and Floyd fall down on 2 different plays in the last 4 that would have sent the game into OT.

Hopefully our team learns from this and moves on quickly. Another conference game coming up at the Q next week, we will need to clean up a lot of the mistakes we made by then. There are positives, but we need to be a quick study for sure.

Well as hard as we are being on the Bolts, the mods need to be held to the same standard. It is unacceptable for a gameday thread to be closed during a contest! I demand an investigation! We must find blame! This whole week is about blame! Damn it!

The last 4 play calls were some of the most retarded calls I've ever seen Norv make. Seriously, ENOUGH w/ this Sproles ****. Put Tolbert and a jumbo package in and run it 4 fuggin times dammit!
