I hate that call. It had nothing to do with the INT, but we still lose the ball. Brees is a lucky little ****.
2nd time in 2 weeks that Ingram has allowed a TD as a result of a penalty based on reckless play. Someone needs to teach him to get his head down and tackle the QB through the gut.
Doesn't really matter, if its helmet to helmet the zebras are gonna call it. Illegal hit.. Ingram was just too anxious to get his sack could of easily popped him with the helmet to the gut..
Ingram is becoming that guy...makes a great play accompanied by a game changing penalty......just what we need in a playoff game...( Macree?)
It's a little early in his career to say he's "becoming that guy." In fairness to Melvin, that would not have been a penalty in the NCAA. It takes more than 4 career games to adjust to the rule differences.
