Anything I have to say is either too vulgar and scathing or has been said already.

Wow...where is our coaching staff? They SUCK!!! We just got beat by an 0-4 team; I'm hoping for a 8-8 record this year! We are in a really weak division so anything could happen.

Gaither was injured at the end..... at least he had some excuse. Ingram is the one who ****** us big time...... unforgivable penalty.

First, how the hell can Collinsworth see that Gaither is unable to move, and no one on the Bolts sideline recognizes this.

Second, complete and utter failure to make second half adjustments. 1 TD scored in the 2nd half, 2 and a field goal allowed. We might as well assume that Gaither will be out for another month.

This game sucked the big one... big time. When will Norv go for the throat rather than always sitting back and playing it fukking safe all the time... he's the biggest chickensh!t still with a coaching job in the NFL... pathetic.

    • Ingram's penalty turned the game around completely.. 360..
    • We had the Saints against the ropes on 3rd and downs and they just kept converting..
    • Our CB's are ******* terrible..
    • The Ref's ****** us over on the 2 minute drill, and i HATE bringing the refs into things, but that was ATROCIOUS, Saints were granted a ******* courteousy win..
    • Gaither ******* gives out on the last ******* play.. GET OFF THE FIELD *** HOLE

Rivers needs a top notch line...and most teams don't have one.

I know that was a terrible two minute drill but it can't all be pinned on River's, he wasn't called for holding or the offensive pass interference.

With Clary on one end, and Gaither looking to be re-injured, we're in trouble. They can't protect Rivers.

That PI was one of the weakest, most bullshit calls I've ever seen ESPECIALLY in contrast to the NO player climbing Floyd's back on Rivers' interception

You mean the guy who was playing his *** off all night and had an injury that limited his mobility on the last couple plays? Yeah, what a horrible person.

How was it terrible? Rivers completed three passes for 20+ yards, including two that were called back on BS penalties, and would have had a third if not for a hold on Gates that was not called. It's hard to play the refs and the defense. As for the sack/fumble, Gaither got injured at the wrong time. It sucks, but it's just bad luck, sort of like having a borderline roughing the QB penalty negate a pick six and having a non-PI call lead to an INT.

They called it on Hardwick, when he never got his hands outside the numbers.

Right. Your previous post also reminded me of the non-holding call on Gates. Jesus, that was as bad as the replacement refs.

Just to much stuff going on causing problems and not be cleanly run. Almost as if Norv couldn't see what in hell was going on.

In a sea of retarded comments after this loss, you win the prize. Congratulations. Our last play of the first half was a bomb to Meacham for a TD. That gave us a 3 point lead. The first time the offense got it in the 2nd half, they scored a TD after an interception by the defense. The next time the offense got the ball, they were successfully mixing pass and run. Then they had an incompletion on first down and a sack on 2nd that set up a 3rd and 22. Is passing on first and second down "playing it fukking safe all the time?" The next time we got the ball we went 3 and out, so you can blame the playcalling if you want, but it wasn't because Norv was playing safe. Rivers dropped deep to throw on 2nd and 3rd down and did not complete either pass.

I understand the frustration, but at least pay attention to what is happening. The offense never played it safe in this game. They did not execute in the 2nd half, but it's not because they were being too conservative. If anything, you could argue the opposite might be true, since Mathews was averaging 6.7 yards per carry but was only given 12 attempts.

I agree, our problem wasn't conservative playcalling, but rather a failure to make adjustments after the half. Norv didn't adjust to the changes NO made, and the whole complexion of the game shifted after the half.

our second half had zero running game when battle and mathews where both doing well, there was two penalties that i think are suspect, more so the PI on gates, but the thing that makes me most angry is ingram.....this isnt the first time he has done this, this time it cost us an interception and a td...after how they treated mathews for a fumble they better bench ingrams a$$.....

meacham, royal, battle, mathews, floyd..rivers looked good also..they all did outstanding tonight.....

im so sick of hearing us not get respect and said to be in a weak division. when they talk about the broncos winning the division, it's all good they should win, if they talk about the chargers winning the division, its because its a weak division....i dont agree but displays like tonight are why we get putdown.

we should have had this game by two possesions......we gave them this game.

    A couple things:

    1. Way more than only 2 suspect penalties.
    2. Agreed about Ingram, I think that penalty was worse than the Mathews fumble as we were in the lead (I believe) and that would've made it even more difficult.
    3. This has really started frustrating me lately. Granted I've only been watching NFL for about a decade now, but the east coast bias is really irritating. The SNF pregame crew (Tony Dungy, Rodney Harrison) basically scoff at the Chargers even being able to compete (I specifically remember them laughing at SD after the Atlanta game). We were 3-1 going into this game against an 0-4 team but got 0 respect. They kissed Brees *** the entire night and hardly mentioned the Chargers AT ALL.

After our performance tonight, can you blame them? It's not like we were driving for the win at the end of the game either, we were driving to tie it to force OT.
