WOW. just wow.
Why am I not surprised.
No excuse on Rivers there, that was a pathetic pathetic throw
PS that was how you cover a guy in endzone Cason - nice play WRight
Who would blame the O-line for that one?
Right into 3 defenders, clearly Denver was caught off guard by the play call.
Its really a team effort of suckage.
Rivers continues to disappoint!
I'd like to believe that Rivers will improve with a better OL but he's just not seeing the field well. IDK if that's an issue with the OL but still its disturbing
Anyone have any confidence Rivers can drive for a TD right now? Cricket.... Cricket.... Cricket....
It did not look like Rivers surveyed the field on that play.
Funny how we signed like 5 kick returners in the offseason, and Brinkley is returning kicks now.
Rivers sucks.. honestly.. had a clean pocket threw it where 3 defenders were..
Think we should consider drafting a QB in the first, second round of the draft.. honestly..
Oh what RM could do with some running room and a good OL
Part of it is, but it's also still on Rivers because he's making rookie caliber mistakes right now (not even bothering to make more than one read and just zeroing in on who he wants to throw to and throwing it regardless of whether they're double-/triple-covered).
I can't blame him for being rattled from the outset because his OL is allowing pressure in his face on virtually every single play. And that's going to shake your confidence and get you hearing footsteps. But Rivers is too damn stubborn.
Fumble or get injured?
Rivers looks horrible!
I sure am glad that Norv is an offensive genius, I would sure hate to see where we would be if he wasnt!
Well that sums up our year no? Pathetic 3-and-out
What a ******* joke. Year 6 people.
Phew, what a relief, no interception this time!
That INT had nothing to do with the O line.
I would like to imagine that Rivers will feel more comfortable when the team invests in the line, it very well could be just nerves because his OL will get him killed soon. Having said that, the mistakes he's making are something you'd expect (as you said) a rookie to make, not a pro bowl caliber QB in the prime of his career. i honestly don't know what to make of it even though I'm hoping the OL (and maybe the poor level of WRs we have) will fix that
And to think we are even worse coming out at halftime
River's has zero confidence in his O-line, what a shame this team has come to.
Stubborn! He's killing us. even if his line sucks, don't force the ball. He has a screw loose
Shareece Wright has been solid so far. Kid has potential.
Woo Hoo 30 yards of total offense..
Denver's defense has more total yards than we do on offense! Norv is such an offensive genius
And just like that, a 1st down.
Separate names with a comma.
