Phil has lost it ..and I don't mean Mickelson....bad combination...bad team, bad coach, bad GM, bad owner. Another 3 and out.....total of 50YDS in 1st half...now that is pathetic!
Phillips actually has trench players in front of him that are good and do their jobs correctly. When Rivers has that and still performs the same way, I'll be more inclined to take your criticisms seriously.
Don't get me wrong, i love Rivers, i always have but at the moment it's hard to love anything about him when he makes mistakes i'd expect from a 12 year old.
Was that the most amazing series of plays you have ever seen? PR can't complete 5 yr pass to wide open receiver, then a running play called by NT because he has not confindence in his QB and then a pass so bad from PT that you see why NT has not confidence in him. Please nobody try to tell me this is all due to the great Denver defense. Unless ofcourse you are from Denver. Now sit back and watch PM take them all the way down the field.
Has nothing to do with loving Rivers or not loving Rivers and everything to do with understanding basic fundamentals of the game. A non-mobile QB + a bottom 2 in the league OL is not going to produce in a passing game. Also, a twelve year old playing behind this line would be dead already... and, though it would disappoint his mother, he definitely would NOT have clean underpants on.
