That was a had fought battle in bad weather and the Chargers almost beat the storm.

This game rivals last year's home loss to Tebow as some of the most uninspiring, pedestrian, downright cowardly football I have ever seen. When the three-yard checkdown to the RB is your most effective weapon, you suck. Why bother having a gigantic WR if you're never going to throw him a sideline out at 15 yards? Why bother carrying, and playing four TEs if you're never going to deploy them in favorable matchups that challenge the opponent's defense?

That should be the franchise's mission statement for the rest of the year: Why Bother?
