Brees has never won in Denver, maybe he can cheat his way to one tonight.

Season was over when Norv wasn't fired after week 17 last year.

Look at the good side of this. Now y'all can root for your all time favorite QB in Brees to chuck and duck his way to his first win ever in Denver.

I don't know, I don't think either of these teams winning/losing this game will impact our draft position.

The Chargers took one on the chin today, poor guys played one tough game out there in horrible weather conditions.

We lost because our o-line is garbage, and couldn't get a push against their 3rd and 4th string DTs. The weather should've HELPED us in this game.

Let's see fire that Marty for going 14-2 then losing but losing and losing so you don't even make playoffs is much better right? Does anyone remember Bobby Ross going 8-8 and ending up in the Super Bowl with Humphries and Ronnie Harmon? Who says you can't put it all on the coach? If Bobby Ross took those guys to Super Bowl with a drunk Natrone Means, Norv and AJ deserve to go!!! Maybe they are trying to set a record for the first team with this many blacked out games... On that they will surely win, not to mention the most season ticket cancellations in one year. Save face Norv, walk away now before you are officially banished from SD forever.

Maybe so Conc, but the one fact I DO KNOW for certain is, that none of those guys above had the talent Norv was handed to start out their coaching careers with .....

              YES or NO ?

Disagree. Gilbride was handed a team what 2 years removed from the Super Bowl? I look at our team and there is always talent at one position or another. Riley had one of our better linebacking corps. Henning could yell "Billayh!" from the sideline like no one else...

I am not saying any of this to defend Norv. I am sick of the lack of mental fortitude this team has, and he is the common thread. What I am saying is based on results Norv was not the worst coahc the Chargers have had. That said, time for the team to take the next step. That means with a new GM, new key FO personnel, and a new coaching staff. A least that is how I see it.

I don't think he's the worst coach we've ever had either, but we're clearly wasting our time waiting for this guy to take this team to the next level.

I don't see firing AJ as an absolute necessity, but taking away or diluting his power to hire who he wants absolutely is. And with the new HC I think its important to have a clear seperation of church and state, because you rarely find successfull teams where the HC is responsible for evaluating and aquiring talent...and we don't want another Marty situation.

Oh crap! I agree... now I know the Myan's were right! ;)
I see it just the opposite. I think AJ has even more blame to shoulder than Norv. Who should have gotten us some young beef on the OL? Who should have gotten us some quality Receivers? Who was it that pushed for Norv? Who was it who wouldnt talk to the previous head coach. The buck stops at both AJ's and Norv's feet IMHO. I cant give him a pass for anything. I wont give him a pass.

Agreed again (eeek!) about not wanting another Marty situation.

You protect your $90+ million dollar QB investment by building your O-line on the cheap? That is entirely on AJ. Other teams invest top picks to build from the inside out, but not AJ....... he knows better. ;)
