This O-line has sucked for a couple of years now, maybe i'ts time for Rivers to adjust to the talent level of his line/team. You keep expecting too much and you'll just keep getting disapointed.
River's has really regressed, I don't know what the problem is but I'm going to guess it starts with Norv.
Rivers' 1st INT all his fault.. the second wasn't. He had Alexander wide open breaking away, thought he could make the pass but didn't get to step into it cause of this ****** ******* o-line
As Canepa would tell you after a win, there is no coach in the league who knows more about QBs or pass protection than Norv Turner.
It really is a shame for Norv Turner that football games are 4 quarters long. And of course that no good idea called "halftime" where you're supposed to make adjustments and do some coaching.
Good effort on that last play Rivers, you are a dirt bag and a has-been!! Get off my team and go stink it up somewhere else you jerk-off!!!!
The public fight between Brees and AJ never happened? Sorry you need to educate yourself on this team if you are going to try and be a fan.
Pretty much... and yet another game I had to watch on mute because Solomon Wilcotts wouldn't know non-bias commentary if it dropped a Cleveland Steamer on his chest.
honestly that guy is such an idiot.. I had to mute it in the last quarter as well.. no knowledge what so ever.. He called Rosario Dawson.. Like wtf?
It would help, but credit where it is due. Rivers is getting really sloppy with his footwork. He holds a lot of accountability for his bad plays, as well as his good.
it should be restructured cause he doesn't play like a $90 mil QB.. And use some of that money for an OL..
No doubt, and that's not to take blame away from Rivers or to make too many excuses. However if he wasn't getting hit repeatedly, he would likely have more stable footwork and from there not make bad plays along those lines. He almost never had bad footwork from 2006-2009 when he had a very good OL in front of him, I think that the footwork is a direct result of him knowing his OL can't hold up more than 3 seconds normally PLUS having a game plan with deep routes constantly
he gets sloppy with his footwork because he has absolutely no o-line.. That ******* bum Gaither guy we gave a contract to for play 1/4 of the season hasn't done **** to deserve a contract.. Dielman is greatly missed on this team for sure..
He is not getting hit repeatedly. His first INT no one was around him and he threw it off his back foot right to the defender. The OL needs a lot of work. But it is not all of the story.
River's problems can be straightened out but I don't believe Norv is the man for the job at this point.
