Chargers doing a pretty decent job especially of ball control. I'd prefer more TDs but I can't complain too much
Yeah if only we could play another 0-3 team. I've been completely unimpressed. We got serious issues in the redzone, and I if I see Cason line up 10yds off again I'm going to drive 1000+ miles to San Diego and knee cap that *** douche Manusky.
Well the D looked pretty good despite all the injuries.. only gave up one TD.. Some very good stops and good pressure.. Offense had some glamorous moments but 4 field goals.. come on man! Gotta punch atleast half of those in! Glad no turnovers BUT two fumbles, well mathews was just fine i guess.. I though there was a facemask on that play.. but Tolbert come on man every time this guy touches the ball I get nervous hes gonna cough it up..
Hey, at least it's not one of our patented slow starts...........but I hope we've still got some cojones left by the time December rolls around!
A win is great and 3-1 at this point is fantastic compared to years past. The offense really needs to score some points and help the defense out, at least they have shown to be game and play with some heart.
Thing is, the way our team is playing, I'm pretty sure that this is another one of our patented slow starts. They've just been able to pull out the wins anyway. Gets me really excited for our patented late season run coming up. We should be dismantling teams left and right!
It helped that they had their first string QB out the game, but really I don't think this start says much except that this isn't a terrible team (which was known anyway). Whether it is Superbowl or AFC Championship quality is another matter. And all this they start slow and end great idea that everyone (even opposing fans) use isn't that relevant as it didn't happen last year and for most people they need to do more than win the division anyway.
Let me ask you this: Have we improved since week 1? I say so. There's room for improvement considering there is no such thing as a perfect football game, but we're making improvements and that's all I can ask for. Last thing we need is this team to be the one that peaked too soon.
