Yep. All we do is screw up. If it's not a turnover, its a penalty, if not a penalty a special teams blunder. One bone headed play after another. This is a Keystone Cops football team.
You're an *******, pure and simple. Do you need a tissue............................................ baby?
For the life of me, I don't know. Norv wasn't having whatever Crosby was saying when Brown kicked it out of bounds. But he'll have his job come next week because no one has the cajones to make a move to save this season.
With a backup kicker, from 45yds, and the biggest upside is you go into over time against Tom Brady in a game where you've been thoroughly outplayed? Norv has no sack. He's a loser. He coaches scared.....pretty much the exact opposite of Bill Bellichick who coverted multiple 4th downs today on his way to long scoring drives.
I agree, but week in and out, it doesn't look like they've worked on any of their problems. It's the same team that shows up on game day. There has been no perceptible progress from week one.
Clearly this is your year and it's clearly not our year. That sucks but you'd say the same if the opposite was the case
I'm with you there. Its like watching a chicken run around with its head cut off. He seems totally out of it. Its like things are over his head this year.
God, this team is going to cost me my sanity. Have you ever seen a team make more totally phucking crazy stupid mistakes to lose games? The Pats had 38 yards of offense in the first half and 13 points!!!!!!!!!! AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! On a positive note. Barnes and Applewhite played great. For get about the Shauns. It's all about the Twans.
There were so many goddamn mental mistakes, and again a HUGE lackadaisical attitude which says we don't need to focus until its later and our *** is really in the fire. That's coaching. Our TALENT showed we can still come back from everything but so many bad penalties, mental mistakes that we clearly can't beat ourselves
Nate would have missed it anyway. Gameballs to Jammer, Burnett and the 2 Antwans. Honorable mention to Crayton and Gates. The rest... well I better leave that unsaid in case I get myself in trouble.
My computer is delaying, probably site traffic. Thanks grammar police. You can go back to your basement and whack it to Todd Haleys face now.
We were thoroughly outplayed? The Bolts turned the ball over 4 times in the first half, gave up a 40 yard punt return and were down by 10. They were not thoroughly outplayed. The Chargers had all the momentum if Brown makes that kick. Going into overtime. At home. Having just overcome a 17 point deficit in 10 minutes. I can understand an argument for the Bolts going for it, but to say they were thoroughly outplayed is laughable. I actually would have been more likely to go for it after the penalty than before.
Tough loss, guys...but I have to tell you, I would be willing to kiss your left guard's *** on the fifty yard line in front of a full Quaalcom stadium for his fine effort on the field goal. Your guys played their hearts out in the second half...they took Brady off his game for the best part of four quarters...especially in the first half. I really feel badly for the Chargers and their fans, and it has nothing to do with my devotion to New England. I think the problem is systemic, and no one individual can be held responsible...the system lends itself to a lack of discipline and really questionable decison making from the players, the coaches, and especially from decision makers who wear business suits.
I'll support the team no matter what. so, i'll at least have a support group here to help with my sorrow. Ugh, I had such high hopes this year.
Yeah, but if we had not got the first, everyone would say we should have kicked it. Your darned if you do, and darned if you don't.
“When I heard all of this, I became very sad. I am very thankful that I had a great support group help me get through that traumatic experience. I’m better now, and thank you for asking.”
Well said. A few players making the odd mistake, it's on the players. However it's the entire team (though credit goes to the D for sucking the least and keeping us in the game). Occasionally they shake out of it and play with razor sharpness, but then, make us feel worse for falling short. This is a top down issue. Starting with Norv.
I sure as hell wouldn't have, maybe naive little tw*t like Leo would have. I always vote put the game in the hands of your best players when they're rolling, not your backup kicker. And that goes double when your facing Tom Brady and Bill Bellichick who won an OT game against a much better team than the Chargers just last week.
