That explains why we are running 3 plays in a row to punt?
Here the Raiders are about to score which will put them 3 points down... Maybe field posisiton should have made Norv dictate the plays instead of Shottenheimer... No?
And of course, said punt gets stuffed...
No way you could predict the punt being blocked. Up 2 scores with little time left doesn't call for throwing deep in your end.
Put us out of our misery already.
Raiders will be Raiders.
Blew stop jumping to the extreem. I never once said to throw deep did I? Perhaps you have not been watching football long enough to know of a short to imtermediate pass?
Playing prevet only prevents you from winning. I thought a 'tell it like it is' bloke like you would have known this already....
A win is a win is a win.
We won....... stop your griping.
At least we swept OAK. Pretty unsatisfying though
Good riddance season, Norv, and AJ.
And a Happy New Year to all...
Thus endeth a lousy season (and a pretty crappy year overall). May the next be much better for all of us.
Hell yes in spades...
Who fu(king cares!
While it's always nice to kick Raider *** for the third straight time, it doesn't change my disappointment that we are now probably picking in the low teens
I personally would have rather lost and been picking before #10
Wow, these dudes they have been talking with on the phone need to go sleep it off. They should be screened better before being put on the air, good thing it isn't broadcast outside of Dego.
We're still picking 11th. Shawn Zobel may be worthless for just about everything else, but crunching numbers to use SoS to determine draft position the guy is actually spot on with.
Considering that, I'll take it happily with wins over Jets/Steelers/Raiders x2
Also, it goes without saying, but I heart FauxJohnMadden!
I would rather drink out of a toilet down in Tijuana then root for the Raiders to beat the Chargers!
For those wondering, here's the order for the Top 20 picks on the draft:
1. Kansas City
9. NY Jets
11. San Diego
13. Tampa Bay
15. New Orleans
16. St. Louis
18. Dallas/Washington loser
19. NY Giants
Just curious, there are 5 teams tied at 7-9, how are we getting the #11 pick already, meaning higher than any other 7-9 team?
Thats fine. I guess i think more for the long term than for short term
I'm not entirely sure. I'm going off of Zobel's projections which have in the past been spot-on.
Edit: The team just confirmed we have the 11th pick as well. From what I can tell our strength of schedule actually too a dip today by about eight hundredths of a point.
One win over Okeland in a season is good. Two wins in a season against Okeland, priceless. Especially when they put their bandanas over their faces and walk out without a word...
Actually, I think they just do that because they're under the impression that banks are open on Sundays...
Another season in the books and head coach in the can.
Yeah, but 7 Elevens are always open...
