It was a tough hill to climb, beat up and limpin into this, still they played well most of the game.

A lot of people aid this team had to make the Championship game to be successful. Well they met that criteria.

I cant help but feel we had more to do, but it was a good year, and was great to see the team come together and right the ship!

It dont matter. We still would of lost ny 2 points even we stop them...or by 5 if they get a FG.

Why pin this all o Florence? Thats lame. Defense couldnt stop Moroney who got over 100 yards for the day and got no pressure on Brady.

U know what I reckon last year was 'the time'. We did great but the Patriots are a much better team than they were last year.

First of all I tip my cap to the Pats. They did what they had to do get it done.

Second of all, we hung in there pretty well with a banged up offense and may have been a little different story had we been able to get a TD or 2 instead of FG's.

Again though, congrats to the Pats.:icon_toast:

Disappointed but not surprised. Let's get our team healthy and go for it again next year. We really had a chance to win today which I am proud of considering we were playing a 17-0 team. :icon_sad:

I thought Norv was way to conservative today. Maybe he had to be without LT and Gates at full strength. Although the D took away the long ball, we kept getting killed with the short passes, especially in the red zone. Then allowing 1st downs on all those running plays just killed us. Maybe with Jamal Williams at full strength that doesn't happen, but Cotrell did a poor job adjusting to NEs changing game plan.

Even though I would like to see the NFC win this year, I wouldn't be upset if Jr. got a ring.

are you serious? Obviously they would not allow someone to record the sidelines in the event they COULD use signals, but teams are smart and change play calls (as I said) just in case. The pats did something VERY illegal and got what they deserved, but to say it HELPED them is ridiculous. They WERE looking for an edge and did something wrong, but they did not get that edge. Teams are too smart for that. You are not using your head.

Great game there by the Chargers. Helluva season - slow out of the gate and ground out the season with some solid football.

Tough grind all the way

Had a chance to meet some Charger Fans yesterday at Bass Pro Shops (on the Gillette Stadium Grounds) and they were good folks!

I've seen a couple of you boohoo Seau. He's a helluva guy, wish him well, he deserves a ring.

    See you again next year.

    (B.A.C. is still an a$$clown)

Anyone that talks **** about our pass defense is a know nothing douche. Seriously, our pass defense played great.

I don't even blame our run defense. The Pats create so many match up problems that it's hard to stop everything, and the D was on the field for the whole second half.

This one is really on the offense and their failure to score touchdowns.

I'll say this. I was a little worried about how the refs would call the game, but I didn't see any obviously bad calls.
