I guess the tone really was harder to catch in writing than it is face to face.

Great win.. Now let's look ahead. Which team do we match up better against?....Tennessee or Pittsburgh. :icon_shrug:

If the Ravens win their next two and we win next week, that would set up the Conference championship game in SD....

They were home dogs to the hottest team in the NFL. They dropped three sure ints and had two red zone turnovers and despite all that they found a way to win.

I addition to that they held the MVP to 17 points, 7 of which game on a freebie.

The defense answered the bell time and time again in the second half and keep giving the offense chances which payed off and we won.

Could things have been better, hell yes, but the good far out weighs the bad.

I think Dobbins might disagree with you there. His sack at the end of the 4th quarter was huge.

I'm sure all that whining and mopping was cathertic.

Who is waiting for you to anoint them? They'll be Super Bowl worthy when they win it, regardless of what you think. The defense was great tonight. They made Manning uncomfortable, and with the exception of one huge brain fart by the coaching staff, the Colts did next to nothing on offense.

As for "no big plays," the Colts defense is really f'ing good when they are healthy. There just weren't that many plays to be made. There's a reason why the Colts D has given up fewer passing TDs than any team in league history.

Come on, what about dobbins sacking manning on the 1 yard line, to give us the chance of actually tying the game!?

And i think the colts are a really, really good team, top 5 in this league right now, and since i'm not expecting the road to the superbowl to be blow outs every week, i really think we had a great game, considering the opponent we had before us.

EXACTLY they dropped a half dozen opportunities........what did you expect? People to be stress free and pat them on the back? It was a stressfull game that didn't end until OT, you have some unreasonably high standards if you expect us all to just clap off a huge mistake when we're trying to win a Super Bowl here.

Maybe you dont care enough to criticize.........you ever think of that?

Anyone who feels this was not a hard fought, great win is kidding themselves. I see people are saying only Sproles and Schifers made plays. Not true. The Defense held one of the premier offenses to 17 points. 7 of those coming off a lucky play where Manning caught the D substituting.

The wide receivers were blocking well. Vj though he had no catches drew defenders and helped open the short passing game. Hester made some blocks that looked like Loneal. He played a very good game. Naanee made a clutch catch. The whole team played well and Rivers kept it going.

We should all be feeling proud, if you dont, there is nothing that can help you.

I spent many Sundays inside the Pontiac Silverdome watching Barry Sanders run. I have not seen a single player that would compare to Mr. Sanders until tonight------let me say that it was only one night-----but it was special. I will be the first to compare San Diego Charger Darrin Sproles to Barry.

            AMAZING!!!!!!

            SPROLES!!!!!!!!!

            SCIFI!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

THAT HUGE STOP BY THE DEFENSE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ron Rivera had a huge impact on this game. That blitz on third down was the difference in the game, and Cottails would have never dialed it up.

Dude I was stoked that we won! But I dont sit around ranting about our greatness when we easily could have lost if we didn't get a few calls at the end of the game.

I'm sure you've been a Charger fan for a hell of a long time, you should be wise enough now not to drink the Kool-Aid too soon.

LT hurt and on the sideline, shutting out VJ, losing the turnover battle and still pulling out the win just proves that we have the talent to win even if our #1's aren't available.

THIS is Charger football boys and girls - it played hide and go seek for awhile, but they have their bearings again and it couldn't have happened at a better time.

Darren Sproles - I have always loved this kid but holy crap did he blow my mind tonight! So much heart - Such a motor - he is a gem we CANNOT afford to let slip away.

Mike Scifres - once again rpoving that the probowl voting is a ****ing JOKE. Greatest punt performance ever.
