First half Gates knocks Adam's head off.

Second half, Manning cuts the heart out of the Chargers fans, as the team loses its will.

Norv: "Well we just gotta play better late in the game, we tried really hard and made some turnovers, and, uh, der, just couldn't put them away. And when you're playing against a great one like Peyton you just can't make those kind of mistakes. We're going to go in to the bye week, get some players healthy, and work on some things and try to get better."

There you go. I don't even have to listen to that pussy to know every word that will come out of his dumb *** mouth.

A whole lot of nothing really.

I don't want to kill him, I just don't think I want him QB'ing the Chargers right now.

meachem is old and done...royal is a weak *** joke and yes..this team should have manned up and kept VJ. just another reason why this whole organization needs to be gutted from top to bottom. I am done with this team in the state it is right now....Rivers is/was too good of a qb to regress like this on his own. It is Norv , AJ and the crap they put around him year after year.

Some people have some real selective memories, it seems. A lot of the egregious stuff that Meachem and Royal were guilty of tonight was VJax's MO when he was here. Letting guys run him off his routes, half-assing it on jump-balls, not coming back to meet balls. These same deep-ball INT's were occurring last year when Jackson was in the game and Rivers was hucking it up to him.

I guess I was a buttweed when I suggested after the NO loss that norv just didn't have the cajones to put a team away after gaining a big lead. I just don't get Norv... I mean either he couldn't or wouldn't step on their throats and stomp the life out of them with some aggressive play calling. Nope Mathews up the middle a dozen times and then when forced to pas.... it's turnover time.

Turtling up and getting "Shut-the-Fack-Out" for the entire second half and turning the ball over five times is effective Norv Turner game management. Turtling up and seemingly telling the boys the games over so go on home is surely a game plan for success.

Yeah I'm sick of Turdhead Turner and his bullcrap style of coaching. Once a loser always a loser and now he's got Rivers coughing the ball up at an even faster rate than last season. Why Spanos didn't just fire that pencil neck still gets the bile up in my throat and I just want to puke. I really wanted to give Norv another... ANOTHER... shot at winning with this team but the guy has sucked the life force outta these guys... just like he's done on every team he's been the head coach for. He's been able to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory for the last two weeks... congrats Norv!

To be honest, I'm really hoping the team just quits on him. I doubt it happens (no I don't consider the horsecrap rollovers-to-death we've witnessed the past two weeks to be them quitting on him), but it may be necessary. Fact remains, even if they do quit on him he still wouldn't be fired till end of season because we literally don't have anyone else capable of calling offensive plays, aside from maybe Steve Fairchild and even he's always been more of a figurehead OC (under an offensive-minded HC) than a true one.

Unless we've got a legitimate and deep OL, Norv's "system" honestly doesn't fit Rivers' skill-set, that's become very apparent. In fact, Norv's system has always been dependent on a top-notch OL (for all the lauding he gets for his time running the vaunted Cowboys offense, look at the guys he had on that line - at least 2 future HOF's).

If Obama chokes twice in a row like the Chargers did, there will be balloons and cake over at 'fair & balanced' ;)

A lot of games left and anything can happen and usually does where the Chargers are concerned.

Last 3 seasons (2010-2013, so far) the Chargers are 19-19.. Pretty much sums up mediocrity..

Let's trade up and get Geno Smith..
