HUGE game coming up for us without a few notable starters. It's time to install a new defense no longer centered around Jamal Williams and to establish our running attack without the great LT. Can we do it? Oh! I hope so...we certainly have succeeded, temporarily in the past. But that was then and this is now. This is all that matters. For now, we play to win each game, each week, with the hearts and souls of champions whether or not that is where we end. We'll stumble; we'll learn. We'll adapt and grow and as fans, WE will be there the whole way. Bring on next opponent! Bring on the Ravens! And let us prove our might as San Diego, as the CHARGERS, as a legendary team fit for the ages. GO BOLTS! :flag:
I will be taking my wife to her first Chargers game. Been looking forward to it for a while. Our injuries this week and for the season suck already, but we are a good enough team that we should sill be in every game we play. Might be a blow to the season as a whole, but we have a chance every week, so one week at a time we just have to get W's. LET'S GO BOLTS!!!!!

Just had an epihany. I bet we go to a 4-3 for the rest of the season. Look at who we have left and how they play. Throw in Rivera (4-3 coach) and the twist that is teams gearing up their roster to contend with our 3-4......AJ may have seen this coming....:icon_huh:

I am calling out Ron Rivera STEP IT UP, lose the vanila preseason defence and let us see an aggresive performance. And to Norv lets not run Sproles up the middle every first down. Use him on the outside were he excells. Rivera turn them loose, blitz blitz blitz, rattle this second year QB, they are the ones coming across three time zones. :icon_toast:
Just a quick note before I head down to the stadium. The Chargers are scheduled to wear their white jerseys today and the Ravens will be wearing their dark jerseys...the significance of this....it will be around 90 degrees in the stands today, and a lot hotter on the field! There will probably be at least a couple of players cramping up late in the game due to the heat. It's gut-check time for the entire team. We have seen there is no quit in this team, let's see if they can rise up and get it done against the Ravens. Get loud people!!! This is our house!!!

Despite his efforts to return to the field, L.J. Smith will miss his second straight game after the Ravens deactivated the tight end prior to today's game against the San Diego Chargers. Smith, who had targeted today's game for his return, had been limited in practice last week due to a pulled left hamstring. The Ravens also scratched offensive tackles Oniel Cousins and Tony Moll, defensive tackle Brandon McKinney, safety Tom Zbikowski (concussion), rookie linebacker/defensive end Paul Kruger and rookie linebacker Dannell Ellerbe. John Beck is the third quarterback. San Diego will play without three offensive starters in running back LaDainian Tomlinson (sprained right ankle), center Nick Hardwick (ankle) and right guard Louis Vasquez (knee). Darren Sproles will start for Tomlinson, Scott Mruczkowski for Hardwick and Brandyn Dombrowski for Vasquez. The Chargers also deactivated defensive end Travis Johnson (groin), wide receiver Buster Davis, linebacker Antwan Applewhite and safety C.J. Spillman. Charlie Whitehurst will be the third quarterback. Ogemdi Nwagbuo will start for Jamal Williams. The defensive tackle was placed in injured reserve Saturday with a triceps injury.
I grabbed Bennet to replace LT on my fantasy team so i'm hoping for a huge game from him for 2 reasons
