Jay Glazer just said on the FOX pre-game that Chargers coach Steve Crosby got a call from him wife during the fires. She wanted to let him know that there was a hippopotamus in their pool. They live out near the Wild Animal Park.

I pm'd Casey Pearce (Chargers.com writer) and Joelbolt to check on the validity of that report. Maybe we'll get a story on Chargers.com about Crosby's hippo.
