Many posters here have such a hard time with nomorenorv (or whatever he was called before he lost the bet). Yet few posters have a problem with another poster saying how great it would be if the Chargers moved to LA!!! This says A LOT about the mentality of the majority of the posters in here!!! If Norv were fired and Gruden or Billick took over, saying how bad they are is one thing... but at least I'd know those posters are "San Diego Chargers!!!" I now realize the difference between fans in this forum and fans that attend games... IT'S HUGE!!!!
I've got my tickets to next Sunday's game, and I'm making that four-hour drive again. Everyone is entitled to their opinion, and from what I read on these forums, a lot of people in San Diego hate Los Angeles and everything having to do with it. Why? I've never heard anyone hate on San Diego. I live an hour West of L.A. in Ventura, and we don't hate L.A... we love L.A. We love Santa Barbara, and we love San Diego!
I don't hate LA... but this is our team. LA had two teams... the dumb sh**s should have kept their own and we wouldn't be having this discussion. That way, you could save your gas and become a Raiders or Rams fan!!!
Slap yourself in the face for me... just for suggesting I could become a Raiders fan. I now see them in the same light as I see the Clippers and Detriot Lions. Horrible owners, horrible franchises, and fans too stupid to realize that the team loses for profit and has no desire to put together a winning team.... ever. Now if Roski buys the Rams, I hope they draft Jimmy Clausen. He's a local boy and my aunt was his teacher at Oaks Christian. I could see myself pulling for the L.A. Rams with Clausen at QB. :yes:

Yet another example of BOLTS4LIFE not paying any attention to the forums. Workplay had about 5 or 6 red bars for some time until he got + reped for non-city related posts.
I told him to shove it up his ***, then left it alone rather than infiltrate every thread on the board with my sentiment. Does that count, or do I need to spam the entire board with anti-workplay messages? :icon_shrug:
Maybe that's why B4L can't tell the difference. While workplay's message may be a bit more annoying than NMN's in the eyes of San Diego Chargers fans at least he doesn't spam the board with it. He mentions it every so often, usually (and this is key) in threads that are on the subject, but then discusses Chargers everywhere else. Meanwhile, NMN would (in true B4L style) hijack threads to remind us how much Norv sucks and then start 4 or 5 new threads all saying the same thing. Therein lies the difference, B4L

Like I said, he got +reped for posts not related to the city issue. You see, unlike nomorenorv, he doesn't spam his message in every thread and create 4 to 5 new threads a day to say the same thing. This leads to positive rep while discussing other Chargers related matters. It's not as much about the message as it is about the delivery of the message. Workplay has his opinion regarding the "LA Chargers" that opinion isn't very popular around here but he also doesn't spam the board with it like you and NMN do with Norv.
Again... if Norv were fired and we got Gruden or Billick, I'd rather hear someone rant about how bad our coach is than about how great it would be to see the Chargers move.

And you think others disagree with this? When Workplay came into the forms talking about how great it would be for the Chargers to move to LA his neg rep skyrocketed. Like I said, it wasn't until he started discussing other matters that his rep started changing. Unlike NMN (and yourself most of the time) he doesn't have a one track mind. What do you want us to do? Flame and berate the guy because he has the audacity to want the team to move to his hometown regardless of how much he tries to discuss the team? Should I be an outcast here if I said I wouldn't mind if the Chargers moved to Little Rock? (yeah, fat chance but that's besides the point)
I didn't say anything about restricting him or not allowing him to post. This is about certain posters getting so bent about any negative criticism towards Norv but having no problem with support for moving the Chargers out of San Diego.
Do you even pay attention to what others post? It's not about the message it's about the method of delivering the message. If you two wouldn't hijack every thread and start 2 or 3 new ones every day it might not receive as much criticism. Even when the Chargers were 4-8 last year and 90 percent of the board (myself included) agreed with you about Norv your posts about Norv were annoying as hell.
Again... So what? I cant control the Chargers moving... There is no spam about the Chargers moving. It was your spamming campaign that turned so many against your message.

Ughhhhhh. Nobody here can control ANYTHING about the Chargers. Does anybody post here thinking the Chargers front office is listening? That certainly seems to be brought up a lot by some. That argument is a little silly, don't you think?
