Speaking of the Padres... was it just me or did the season have a very quite beginning? I'm talking about media and hype. Taking it that I'm not really a baseball fan but usually when the season begins, it's all over the tv and radio. It didn't seem like it was this season. I didn't realize baseball season began till a few days ago. I saw that games were on tv but I figured they were spring training games.
And now they have AZ coming to town. Good job ruining your bullpen for the next few days. DBacks for the sweep.
I went to a concert last night in Anaheim. Between bands I whip out the Blackberry and check out the score. 0-0 in the 8th. The main band comes on (3 Doors Down if you care) and the concert ends about 11:30. I turn on the radio when I get in the car to see what the final score was and it's the top of the 15th! I listen the entire way home and get home at 12:20 when the game was in the 19th inning - and they still played for another hour!

We decided to go up to Altitudes, at the top of the Marriott, to watch and listen to the BP Show. It was fabulously beautiful up there. Only had one rum and Coke, really. Everything started getting froggy around the 15th. When I took the pics of the Rally Ram, he had been out for about an inning. I heard there was also a rally parrott brought out, but I couldnt see it from across the field. Sis and I were pretty punchy by the end. We were shooting peanut shells into empty beer cups by the end.
