The Panthers made the NFCCG in 96-97 also. I never said we were auto superbowl because we beat a mediocre coached team. And I could also dispute that we are pretty evenly talented. We have a better Wide receiving core with Smith. We have a dangerous running back duo which imo could almost even out with LT. Rosario and King will out do Gates this year. According to your own team website http://www.carolinapanthers.com, you have made the playoffs exactly 3 times (1996, 2003 and 2005). We, while not exactly lighting the world on fire during the 12 years the Panthers have existed, have been 3 times as well (2004, 2006, 2007). Congrats on winning a game (B.F.D by the way, given it's week 1). But if you're going to run smack at least get your facts in order first.
