Unfortunately, one of my fears has come true as Bradley is now hurt. Hopefully it isn't too serious since he has been the hottest player over the past few weeks.

Unfortunately, Bradley is hurt again, as feared. Since he only has 1 AB since August 3rd, why didn't they put him on the DL?

In retrospect, the Pads took it in the shorts again, but Cust really didn't figger in the plans AT THE TIME. I'm glad he's doin well for y'all, also glad he's not tormenting us in the same division/league.

I'm sure alotta NL teams are kickin themselves now for not investigating Cust.

I think the A's will offer him a one-year deal next year to make sure he can do it again before any sort of longer term contract.

He reminds me of Matt Stairs and John Jaha because he hits such majestic fucing shots and he is the definition of a true power hitter with a lot of HRs to left center.

I'm :( for the A's (and Beane's ego) but happy for Milton and the Pads.

He's just warming up. Ride that bat San Diego.

We are! Dude is a Human Spark Plug. Right now, the Padres are firing on ALL cylinders.

EVERYBODY is talking about Uncle Milty aka Mr. "Pimpin Aint Easy".

I wasnt too sure about him, but, he's won me over. Big time.

I hated this move but I've been impressed and happily surprised with Bradley

Question - does someone foresee us using Bradley in CF next year? Maybe put some leverage against Cameron in that we've got a CF next year with good range?

Would anyone be happy with a Hairiston-Bradley-Giles outfield w/Sledge as the primary backup?

I wish he would stop acting like an *** and taunting the opposing team's fans. No call for bush league stunts like that.

He can taunt all the fans he likes as long as he A) keeps hitting HRs and B) doesn't take it far enough to get himself suspended.

Does it make him a lack of class ********? Sure....but who cares?

Late in the game, after Uncle Milty's bomb, he was out playing in left field.

The left field stands started the chant, "Mil-ton Brad-ley, clap, clap, clap, clap, clap..." We said it a few times.

Milton turned around, smiled and waved to the adoring crowd. We all cheered.

Milton is a very emotional dude but when you guys got into with the Phillies who was one of the first ones out there mixing it up? All of the A's players loved Milton and when Beane let him go our clubhouse was fuced up for about a week.

I can do without the taunting and theatrics, but I admittedly come from a different era. I can't imagine Hank Aaron doing anything like that, nor Mickey, or Jim Brown, or Duke, or Willie.

When Bobby Thompson hit "the shot heard 'round the world", there was wild celebration and jubilation, but no taunting or "in your face" kinda stuff.

But, I accept it as partuv the game today *sigh*

Jes keep hittn, Uncle Milty, that's all that matters, I guess!!
