well Texas showed them what we all knew. Good pitching shut them down.

At least they will make it to the Semi's, and I'll bet ya they see a lot of curve balls in the next game.

The second game of the day was the US semifinal between Chula Vista, California and Warner Robins, GA. This game could possibly be one of the best in Little League World Series history. The fans in person at the stadium in Williamsport, Pennsylvania witnessed an incredible game by both teams.

Chula Vista took scored five runs in the third inning to take the lead 5-1. In the fourth inning, Warner Robins came to life and scored nine runs taking the lead 10-5. Chula Vista would come back and score two runs in the fourth and another three runs in the fifth to tie the score 10-10.

Warner Robins went scoreless in the sixth and Chula Vista was up to bat in the bottom of the inning. Chula Vista loaded the bases. Warner Robins’ relief pitcher Connor Smith threw a curveball that went into the dirt. Chula Vista’s Nick Conlin was able to score from third base on the wild pitch winning the game.

The 11-10 loss crush Warner Robins' hope of winning the Little League World Series the same year their girls won theirs. The Warner Robins, Ga girls' team won the Little League Softball World Series earlier in the month.

Now that the Little League World Series scores are in, The Chula Vista, Ca team will have a chance to revenge a loss in the last game of round one. They will play the team from San Antonio, Texas on Saturday for the US Championship game. After that game the Little League World Series 2009 results will be in and will tell who will play in the World Championship game on Sunday.

That was a good game. Several lead changes, and the crowd was into it from both sides. There was good sportsmanship from both sides, and it was won by the action of a kid, not an Umpires call. They must have changed the rules for the World Series. Little League has a rule that no Inning starts after 10 PM. It was close to 11 PM when the game ended.

I know its local time, the rule has been changed. Last year I was calling a TOC game when an inning ended @ 10:20 PM. The rule was enforced and both teams had to come back the next day, but we as a crew was all ready scheduled to go out to Jamul. The teams showed up and they had to find another crew to finish the game up.

Decisions, decisions, decisions. Watch PVLL or SDC. Dammit.

I hate watching football on delay, but i guess today is a good day to make an exception.

That's where PIP (picture-in-picture) works. So for me it's 4-5pm LLWS. Then it's 5pm-whenever the starters get pulled for the Chargers; LLWS in the lower right part of my TV screen.
